My house is small enough that I could tell in seconds how many people there are and which rooms they're in. I am going to shoot them with, my wife is going to stay in the bedroom with whichever gun I don't bring.

I'm going to have to agree with TwoLane, while any gun can kill someone, the 5.7 has never been shown to be a superior round aside from armor penetration with the AP rounds. The FiveSeven is overpriced as well as the ammo, which is just a weaker version of the .221 Fireball. I might get one someday, but it's very far down on my list and it is by no means magical like so many people think.

I'm curious to see what you guys think about this:
U.S. history textbooks could soon be flavored heavily with Texas conservatism - Yahoo! News

I sold all my guns after reading some Brady Campaign literature. So no problem for me.

Looks like a GSG9, Saiga12, ar, ar, ar chambered in something larger than .223, and an SKS. Evil collection.

In defense of the people who said Tom Slick is on drugs, they have a point (even if they are garbage.) He is pretty mentally unbalanced if you've seen video of him outside of this particular instance. However, Captain Ambalamps definitely deserved his leakage.

Warning: Prepare for thread derail.

it is called a "Barrel Shroud" ( or fake can)LOL:)
yes it is a CX4 Storm in 9mm
You mean, that thing that goes up?

No offense Will, but you seem to have a lot of paranoia about your stuff being stolen and too much faith in your ability to stop intruders with your 5-shot .38spl.
I can understand you being paranoid about your guns being stolen, but it would typically follow that you would also be paranoid about being attacked. I could also see you being relaxed enough to only really want a small revolver to defend yourself, but then it would follow that you wouldn't really be all that concerned about your guns being stolen either.
Everyone has their own opinions about home defense, but I am inclined to want to place myself at an unfair advantage. I want to have the better weapon, training, and situational awareness if and when my house is invaded. If there are 2 or more BG's I want to have enough rounds to sufficiently neutralize all of them and have more rounds in the magazine if anyone else shows up. I also want to be able to reload quickly if necessary. A revolver does not do that for me. That's my take on it. I hope it's never put to the test.

Berreta cx4
Is that a can on it?

I did a trigger job on my AK pistol and I can shoot it offhand, 1/4 MOA, at 100yds all day long.
P.S. ...with Wolf ammo.

I LOVE this video. Dude's mustache is awesome.

Ridiculousness, campus is where I spend most of my time and the place where I am most likely to need to defend myself. This law is so counterproductive. I guess I'll have to just hope that if anything happens I'll be close enough to get some stabs in with my knife or far enough away that I can run and escape.

I've never got to hold a 12ga bolt before. I'd like to have one for my collection just to have one. Always wanted a lever gun, too. I'd definitely hold on to them all, there will come a time when you fully appreciate them.

Yeah, and it stays expensive.
I don't think it's worth it, either.

There's this place you can go in town, it's like a great big building full of popular books. You can talk to the people there and they will give you a special card and let you borrow a book for a certain amount of time FOR FREE! I know it's unbelievable, but it's real, I tell you. If only I could remember what it's called.

Looks super sweet. If I may ask, how much did it run ya? I'm looking to get a new holster in the next few months.

Hmmm...as a conservationist and one who despises the federal government, I don't know how to feel about this. I think the land can be sustainably used, but I don't trust private entities within a capitalist economy to have any interest in preserving natural habitats. I suppose it should be in the hands of the states, but the states have to show some kind of inclination toward conservation to keep the fed out of their business.

I wish it would globally warm up around here already. I'm tired of freezing my ass off every morning on the way to class.

I wouldn't be opposed to wearing an IWB combo gun/knife holster. Then again, anytime you drew your knife your gun would be all like, "Hey everybody!"
Pardon the sketchiness, I just drew this up in like 3 min, but this is kinda what I'm talking about.

Awesome.

I voted no that's crazy, but I keep one in my car, one at work, several at home. My EDC knife is a small Gerber folder and I think of it as a tool I use at work, not as a weapon. If I were to carry a knife as a weapon it would be a fixed blade, a folder is about like carrying a pistol with the chamber empty.
Not with this guy:

Exploding watermelons at 600yds with his Mosin.

Capital View Pawn behind NES will do it for $10.00 per firearm plus tax and plus the $10 for the background check. So one firearm would cost a total of $20.93
+1 This is the best that I have heard of in Nashville.

Surely you don't think that test could simulate any situation outside of an ATF raid or the like. Real BG's don't have range time, aren't military or LEO's, and they don't expect a guy to come out of a room prepared to shoot them.
It would be fun to try though.
