  1. To be honest, I used a adjustable wrench.  None of mine are commercial though,. I've made 6 of them, four were 1/2x28 and two were 5/8x24.  They are used to utilize a couple Form 1 cans accross multiple platforms and calibers.  When I'm not running a can, I use HK 3 lug flash hiders that I picked up at Knob Creek back in 06 for $25 each.

As far as torque, I went slightly less than A2 flash hider.  I don't use crush washers though.  Peel washer or none.

I am sure there are some that still need 22 ammo, thanks much. However there are some like me that would not darken the ammo area at wally world if it was the last place to buy 22. WW left a bad taste after the last ammo scare!

I feel the same, Just an observation on current supply.

Last .22 ammo I bought was at a farm & fleet in Washington, Ia. about a year after Sandy hook.

  3. Stopped by Maryville Walmart tonight to grab a couple things from hardware.  Decided to stroll over to the ammo section... Had probably 50 boxes of .22 (50  rnd boxes). CCI  Standard, quiet and high velocity.  They had 4 1k rnd boxes earlier today he said.

Best news was he was told they should be able to keep this Walmart supplied regularly and 3 box limit has been removed. :)

  4. They replaced a broken trigger spring free for me last year.   Only problem was they should have never shipped the spring that I had initially installed.  It was a duty/carry kit for my M&P45.  It broke with less than 300 rnds,. Guy that gave me the RMA number made the mistake of telling me that the geometry was not correct and were prone to breaking.  He said they are replacing them as they break.  He didn't seem to concered that it was my EDC. I got a little fumed over the situation.  FYI: The spring broke firing second round of a 2 day combat pistol / carbine class. I refuse to use their springs in anything that I carry.
