NEW YORK - The mayors of New York and Boston are rooting for opposing teams in the Super Bowl. But they're on the same side when it comes to pushing for stricter gun-control laws.
That's why New York City's Michael Bloomberg and Boston's Thomas Menino have filmed a gun-control commercial that will air during Sunday's big game between the New York Giants and the New England Patriots.

When will they give up on this lost cause???

Seems like Waly-Mart is always a good test bed for OC. I've never OC'd in Tennessee other than at a private residence/land but I did OC in Vermont a few years back while on vacation while seeing a few others OC and it didn't seem to garner much attention which is the way it should be. Then again opencarry.org rated Vermont as "one of our Gold Star open carry states."

Welcome back!

That sounds awfully high, seems I paid about $10 for the 7 gallon ones at Wally's? Though I honestly can't exactly remember.

Edit: I see them for 14-15 online, so Wally oughtta be that or less, and of course no shipping. I've seen the 4 gallon ones there too, but also don't remember the price.
Of course while looking those up a few interesting books came up in the search results:
Getting Out: Your Guide to Leaving America (Updated and Expanded Edition)
I might need to add those to my cart as well.

7 gallon Reliance Aquatainers. Wally's has them. BHP free, last forever.
City water should keep indefinitely.
Keep bleach around, as worst can happen to it is get some algae buildup eventually if the chlorine in it leeches out. Or you can just change it every year. I've had some stored for about 8 months now, still seems about the same.

Thanks for the recommendation. Looks like there is a 4 gallon Reliance container that sells for about $19. Might take up less space then all the single gallon jugs of water as well.

I've run into a problem with the gallon water jugs. After several months they would begin to leak and after a while hit their expiration point so I started to cycle them out. I had actively kept about 30 gallon jugs of water but due to the issues mentioned I have since stopped. Any recommendations around these problems with water storage?

Very cool. Thanks for sharing.

Looks great!!

Kind of hard to "rebuild America" as the anointed one so claims when in the same month he turned down the Keystone Pipeline which would have been an instant 20k jobs.

Ruger LCP9 but occasionally G26.

Every chance he gets.
Figures. Looking forward to November 6th.

Is he still blaming Bush?

I will certainly plan to patronize Starbucks with a very large order on Valentine's Day and spread the word to all of my gun owner friends.

Didn't her husband also recently retire from NASA? I suspect that might also tie into her decision along with being mentally/physically damaged by the failed assassination attempt on her life. Hopefully she can assume a peaceful and normal life with good health while Jared Loughner meets his end at some point soon.
I don't think there is anything dishonest by her saying - "I have more work to do on my recovery, so to do what is best for Arizona I will step down this week."

Good deal, i'm glad to see more and more Tennesseans obtaining their permits. The more permit holders out there the more influence we have in the state government. I'm too lazy to look it up but can anyone tell me how many active permits are in TN these days? Last I heard/read it was over 300K.
According to the TN Department of Safety - "In October of 1996, the Department of Safety began issuing handgun carry permits pursuant to Public Chapter 905. Prior to this change, handgun carry permits were issued by local sheriff's offices. Since October 1996, the Department of Safety has issued more than 339,000 handgun carry permits."
I'm thinking about purchasing a 2nd (Extra) permit card just in case mine ever gets lost, misplaced or stolen and I couldn't carry in-between waiting for a new one. Has anyone else purchased a 2nd?

I buy lots of ammo at Wal-Mart. Can't beat their prices on ammo. That's about the extent of my Wal-Mart shopping though.

Congrats! Took me 3 months to get mine also right after Obama got elected. Now it's no more than 3-4 weeks.
-
You can kiss our guns goodbye if Obama wins re-election. He has nothing to hold back on with a 2nd term and will also potentially appoint 2 or 3 more anti-2nd Amendment SCOTUS Judges on the bench. Even if you don't like any of the candidates you better press hard for whoever it may be to defeat Barack Hussein Obama.

No gun buster signs at the Mac Authority or Best Buy as far as I know. I buy my Macs there. Won't dare step foot near a mall anymore.

From Nashville to Memphis has nice rolling hills and a little more flat. From Nashville to Knoxville it becomes more mountainous. Depends on your preference but each is very scenic and has nice land to be found. Best of luck in your search for land in Tennessee. You won't regret moving here and welcome to the forum!
Gun control ad to air during Super Bowl

I agree. We should all be supportive and wear our firearms on Super Bowl Sunday. Who's with me?
