  1. Anyone in Knoxville that can mud and sand sheetrock? I thought I would do it myself and my walls don't look to good. There are 3 very small areas and one area about 8 foot by 4 foot. I would pay someone to come check it out and fix my mistake(s). Thanks! The sheetrock is up. It's been "mudded" a couple of times, I just can't get it right. It would be a very small project and wouldn't take much time at all. Thanks again.

  2. Just to clarify...I mean no offense by "standard". All my guns are standard as of now. I was thinking of selling off some to clear some cash to add on to the most used. I don't hunt, so I'm with xreedx, it's all HD, PP, and zombie preparation. Just wanting to start a different topic on here for fun!

  3. We also have a two story house with all the bedrooms upstairs. One way up. The way my stairs are, there isn't any open space. It's completely surrounded by walls. I would be prone at the top of the stairs with a 12 gauge aimed at the bottom. There is no way a BG could shoot me before I shot him. I would maintain position while waiting on the police.

  4. For what's it worth, I think you did the right thing. You couldn't see his hands and therefore, in my mind, he would be a threat. He could have a gun ready to pull. Like you, I would have aimed my firearm, finger off trigger, and instructed him to leave. I would like to think I would have the nerve you did. Let's hope so. Good job.

  5. Just got home from the show. I spend a total of 1 hour there. Many vendors didn't show up...I was looking for a holster and there was none to be found. I carried 2 pistols with me and occasionally was asked what they were. Didn't seem like much trading was going on...some decent deals on older glocks. All in all, it was a waste of my $20 (my wife went with me).

  6. I have the ultra compact (non ported). It's a great looking gun. Fairly accurate with not a ton of kick (for a .45). I've had some problems out of mine and had to have a gunsmith take a look at it. All is well now. The only thing I could say is that I've read about the ported barrel flashing and causing all kinds of vision problems when shot at night. If you need it at night, I would say make the first shot count.

  7. Hey guys, I have been on here for a few weeks (maybe months now). I have met some people on here but I have never formally introduced myself. My name is Derrick (I know my screen name is JohnnyFox, long story) and I live in Knoxville. I frequent Gunny's in Maryville and sometimes Coal Creek (try to avoid that one). I'm 27, been married less than a year, in school and I love guns. I will be at the gun show this weekend so maybe I will see some of you all there.
