WOW....I thought I got time-warped back into the bicycle thread.

His son has been dead for awhile.
His grandson has been with the organization for the last several years being groomed to take over.
I haven't heard lately how far along in the process he has progressed.

Hendersonville put out 2 cases of federal 9mm about 2 hours ago. $11.97 per box of 50.
Also had some 45 federal out-----------------------------------------------
WOW...Been a member for 6 years and just noticed I'm still a TGO Newcomer.
Guess I need to post more and lurk less. :)

Speaking of comcast, has anyone received the letter about havjng to pay an HD tech fee on top of the package you already have?
Got that too. And the HD fees are already on the bill in plain sight.
I'm waiting to see if it was just a blanket letter, or they try to stick an additional fee on there and hope I don't notice.

I have a different problem with a peach tree that I planted 7 years ago when we bought our house. It has only grown about 8 inches in those 7 years. Something tells me that it doesn't like the soil in Lavergne.
That's because there is no "soil" in LaVergne.
There's only whatever dirt that has settled on the rock over the past years, and what little the contractors brought in when they built the subdivisions.
Try "prickly pears" or cedar trees and you'll have better luck.
Back when I grew up out in the area, you could grow a garden as long as you didn't want more than tomatoes and cucumbers.

We need constitutional carry and refinement of our HCP process; a couple of very minor adjustments would make the process much less hassle but I very much like that I can carry in some 36 other stats just with my TN HCP and I don't want to see that changed unless it's a change to being honored in more states.
Many places that do the class also do the fingerprints; I don't see how going to a sheriff's office would be better or more efficient? My fingerprinting took about 5 minutes tops; the only hard part was the machine getting a good read.
I just read GA's carry laws and I don't see how their process is significantly better...different; but not truly better at least as I look at them quickly. More important I think; their permit is not honored in about 11 fewer states than TN.
Never researched reciprocity. Take your word on it though.
Guess that's from GA not requiring any safety classes. I'd gladly trade carrying in an unvisited state for less restrictions in my home state.
Far as the differences in permitting process;
TN requires an 8 hour safety class which normally costs 80-100 dollars. There's day one wasted.
Ga does not require this.
TN requires tested applicants to apply at DoS and to pay 115 dollars for the application form and fingerprinting. These long lines makes days two wasted.
GA does not require this. You apply get your permit at your county's probate court. Application is short and fees low. More importantly, court employees are required to be good employees, unlike the often appointed "welfare to work" employees manning the long lines at TDoS.
TN requires you to make an appointment for fingerprinting after you file your application.
Something must have changed since I got mine.
I was fingerprinted first, then turned in the application.
The fingerprints were electronically on file.

A bunch of others must have departed from Springfield this morning.
A long line of them got on I-65 at exit 108 this morning, going north.

That's the rare"Movie" version of the 92.
It evidently also fires with the safety on.

At one time, I had every book that he had written, but gave them all away except the Sackett series.
For other excellent reading try either
Outlaw. By Warren Keifer or
The Frontiersman. Alan Eckerd
Both of them tie for second, right behind Lonesome Dove.

Dont know about the pistol, but the " accessories" appear to be made in Brazil.

It would have made me mad enough to report them to the state.
It would also likely nullify his class.
Didn't that happen a couple of years ago?
-
The laws must have been different where you were at the time. You could buy a beer here your second year in. It didnt change to 21 until the early 80's.
(Sorry, replying to Dave. This "Tapatalk" thing is still new fo me. Missed the quote button.)

Blackberry 8350i for work, for the outlook email and the push-to-talk.
EVO for personal use.
After using the EVO for a few weeks, the Blackberry feels old and outdated.
Sprint also has better plans.

Speaking of temporary fixes, until you can get it looked at, why not just start the car for a few minutes on your day off to let the battery recharge?

"Solaris" and "Sky Captain & the World of Tomorrow"
Money spent on both that would have come to better use lighting a fire.

What Jack said. *gasp* Did I really mean that?
Copper is the best (most durable) option. Next to that is finding a braided steel line that'll fit. If you get the vinyl lines, best sure you get one that's several inches too long. Hot water will make them shrink... ask me how I know.
Use the feet and make sure it's level. Shim if necessary. The anchors are mainly for kids crawling on it (mine does).
The anchors do a lot more than that.
Try opening the door, then pull the lower rack out with a full load of dishes and see what happens if it's not anchored.
Copper is the best hookup, but never try to reuse a ferrule that has been compressed. Trying to save twenty cents can cost you a lot more. It can develop a small leak that will go undetected until it's too late, and you'll be replacing a floor.
Make sure your drain hose loops higher than the bottom of your sink to create an air gap to prevent backflow.
If you have a disposal, make sure the drain nipple is not partailly clogged.

I live in White House and never heard anything about this. White House is still a pretty small town, but we do get alot of interstate traffic stopping in town to eat and get gas. I figured it would have been in our little community paper.
I live in White House too, and I haven't heard a peep about it either.
I know the local paper runs behind on the news, but not THAT far behind.
To add to the inaccuracies, I've worn a tool belt full a tools a time or two, and there are'nt many people that can't outrun you with it on.
And the other, at 7:00 on a Thursday night, KFC usually isn't that busy because in my experience, they've normally run out of chicken by then.

The 4 g and tethering are add ons. You do not have to pay for them if you do not use them
KahrMan,
I believe you are half correct.
There is a $10.00 per month "Premium Data Add-On" to whatever plan you are on, even if you are not in a 4G area.
The "Mobile Hot Spot Capability" is an extra $29.99 per month that is optional.

Just curious. When you renew early, does your renewal date change to when your new HCP was issued or does your first issue date remain the same and just gets extended 4 years. Just wondering if by renewing real early you would lose time or if your issue date stays the same. Thanks
It doesn't actually have an issue date, just an expiration.
Mine has the original expiration date, which is in August.
So This one is good for 4 years and 4 months.

4/10 Renewal application mailed.
4/22 Received letter saying my app had been received.
4/22 Received notice that my permit will expire in a few months.???
(Evidently no inter-office communication.)
4/30 New permit received.
20 days including weekends.

It's a lot easier if your baseboard and door frames are out of the way, but that may be a little deeper than you want to get into.
Do however, take the time to go all over the existing floor, screwing it down with 2" screws before laying the new floor. It will eliminate a lot of the bounce, and all of the squeaking.
Lay the underlayment one width at a time, and install flooring until you are one row away from the edge before laying the next width.
Sweep FREQUENTLY. You'll be surprised how much dirt and grit accumulates in such a short time.
Buy a couple of the "tapping blocks". A lot less edge damage.
If you damage a piece during install, take it up immediately and replace it.
You might fool yourself into thinking that it's not "that bad", and that you can live with it, but you will change your mind after another couple of rows, and it's a lot more work then.
And last but not least, wear knee pads, or you'll regret it the next couple of days.
You know you're old when....

There was always a bottle at the house.
It had it's own particular smell that if you've ever had to take it, you would recognize immediately.
Seeing the cars that were new when we were teenagers, and wished we could afford, now have antique tags on them.
