I have one . Only problem I have is the long trigger pull. It fits in the front pocket in a uncle mikes that breaks up the outline very well. It's not a target gun but I carry it for arms length defense. I have never had a failure to feed or jam to date and I have shot it on several different trips to the range.

I have several kimbers. One custom, one custom II SS , and a eclipse all are great guns. I also have two custom STI's and a couple of other 1911's the only one I didn't keep was a Springfield . I had one and didn't think it was as smooth running as the others.

Does anybody have a P-238? I had a colt mustang some years ago and traded it off , but I always wished I had kept it. The 238 looks alot like it. Just wondered if anybody had one and how they well they liked it.

Are they as good as most other 1911s?

Thanks for the replys. I wanted to know about both matches and some pratice. I used to shoot IDPA. really liked it but shot steel some and liked it better. Have not been shooting much last few years. Wanting to start back soon.

I have RCBS from midway. Used them for the last 8 years . They have ever given me a problem. Great scale at a good price

Most powder mfg. have free load charts and data on there websites.I use hodgen powders. They have everthing listed on the web.

Are there any clubs that shoot steel in the Nashville area?
