  1. David. If I can't get it from David I usually check with Graf and Sons.
  2. I ordered a 10mm Scout kit and got it in less than 2 weeks. Communication was good and the price was right. Slide/frame fit and finish is fantastic but I have not begun the build yet.
  3. Great looking project!
  4. Congrats, man! That's a nice one.
  5. Man, that is amazing figure. Which wood buffer did you go with? I have a Beall system I've been really happy with.
  6. I can't shoot it as much as I'd like to. Also, reloading is my friend.
  7. Minute of man for sure. Nice rifle.
  8. I had a non-E4 model for a while and really liked it. It was reliable and accurate, pretty much all you could ask of it. I'm hoping MSAR will finally produce the MCS. I'd absolutely love to have a carbine 10mm.
  9. I did get it Mac. I think it was 12 days from order to delivery. Truly I'm not as concerned about the timeframe as I am about the lack of communication. I can wait a couple of weeks if I know it in advance but when I spend a significant amount of money I'd at least like a phone call answered or an email returned. I had heard they had a presence on arfcom but I don't post there and don't really need any more internet distractions It was a Sig Sauer 716. I've got about 100 rounds through it so far and absolutely love it.
  10. Got there early this morning. I couldn't believe how small the crowd was. I spent a few minutes talking with David, did a quick walk through and then left. All told I was there less than an hour and a half. Didn't see anything I'd consider a particularly good deal on either firearms or ammo. Maybe the Expo show in a couple of weeks will be better. Thanks again David, great talking with you today!!
  11. God forbid I ever have to draw a gun or a knife in a self defense situation but if I do being in a "fair fight" will be the last thing on my mind.
  12. I can't think of a valid reason that they shouldn't have it checked in by now, especially knowing that you're eager to get it. I was standing in Bill's when my Ed Brown came in on Friday and they had it logged in before the background check was done.
  13. Who do I need to vote for then? I normally stay well out of the political side of ORSA but I'm all for Hope and Change
  14. Welcome to TGO. There are no stupid questions when it comes to firearms and responsible firearm ownership. The search feature will probably answer a lot of questions for you, and if not there is a wealth of information in the members here. What type of firearm did you end up getting?
  15. Okay, $120. I haven't had to pay it in 10 months. Give me a break. I have no idea why. It makes no sense to me either but it's in "the rules".
  16. I wish. My Fusion 10mm build will fill the void. Still in progress.
  17. If you are in absolutely no hurry whatsoever they have some great prices. If you have a question or need customer service, not so much.
  18. You mention you're willing to drive to Kentucky, are you willing to drive to Knoxville? ORSA has a 1,000 yard range where you can shoot pretty much anything except 50 bmg. Also benchrest, indoor pistol, IDPA, skeet, etc. It's a private range, membership is $150 a year. Best bargain on the planet.
  19. It's here... This may be anticlimactic after all of the build up but this is a big purchase for me. i found an Ed Brown dealer that was selling off all of his inventory at wholesale prices. I had admired the Molon Labe model when they were available on the Brown website but couldn't swing it then. The stars aligned (the FN sold) and here she is. I picked her up from Bill's yesterday and took it out shooting today. I can say with certainty that this pistol will never be the limiting factor as far as accuracy is concerned.
  20. I've gotten a late start today. Think I'll avoid the tailgating traffic and come out tomorrow instead.
  21. I'm planning on being there Saturday morning. I'd like to pick up the 846 and the primers I've been bugging the hell out of you about
  22. It's probably going to be anticlimactic when it shows up at this point. I will say that there is no plastic anywhere on it. I can also safely say that Caster will not like it as much as a Glock
  23. No luck today, maybe tomorrow...
  24. Not a new release, just waiting on the Brown Santa Claus to drop it off at Bill's Outpost.
  25. While I'd love a trainload of Civil War era hookers as much as the next guy this is different. I wouldn't sell my FiveSeven to pay for hookers. At least not really old ones...
