  1. MTSA will host its 5th Saturday PCSL 2-Gun match on March 29th. 5 stages, around 100 rounds per gun. CQB style shooting,( I don't have access to the rifle range for these matches). 50 yards max range for rifle engagement.  Bring some lead core rifle ammo for stage one. No M855 or M855A1 on stage one. Gates open at 7:00 with match Start at 9:00.   2. MTSA will host its monthly IDPA match on November 2nd. 5 stages around 90 rounds. Gates open at 7:00 with match start at 10:00. We are up against a L3 regional match at Red Brush range in Newburgh IN. At least 15 of our locals shooters will be attending this match. best of luck, bring back lots of hardware. Because of this I am only planning on 2 squads,(my SO's and shooters will be in Newburgh). I will have my normal fun match set up and ready. $20 match fee.

  3. MTSA will host its 5th Saturday PCSL 2-Gun match on August 31st. 5 stages, 100 rounds per gun (pistol & Rifle). Stage one will have rifle steel, no M855 or M855A1 ammo for that stage. Rifle steel on stage 1 will be inside 60 yards. Check in opens at 8:00 with match start at 9:00. $25 match fee. RO's are needed, match fee is comped.   4. MTSA will host a PCSL 2-gun match on March 30th. 5 stages, around 200 rounds. 2-guns required for each stage. Two divisions, Competition and Practical. Check link below for rule set. $25 match fee. Check in opens at 9:00 in bay 1, match start at 10:00.  Rifle steel at around 60 yards.

  5. MTSA will host its monthly USPSA mtch on Jan. 27th. 5 stages with classifier 22-05 Win Some Lose Some. Usually around 145 rounds. $25 match fee, please bring cash of check. Gates open at 7:00, check in opens at 9:00 under the cover of bay one. Match start is at 10:00.   6. This will be MTSA first try at PCSL (Practical Competition Shooting League). This is very similar to a USPSA match.  This will be a one gun match. 5 stages, around 150 rounds. No classifier for this league.  We will be using hit factor scoring, the same as USPSA. All guns must use pistol ammo for one gun matches between 9mm and .45. No power factors, all scoring is minor. We will be using the PCSL targets that have the K zone that gives a one hit to neutralize option. PCSL uses shooting areas/boxes.  This will also be a NO match, NO no shoot targets and No hard Cover targets. However Steel will abound.

  7. MTSA will host the IDPA classifier for pistol and PCC on March 4th. Enter any numbers of guns to classify. A separate entry will be needed for each gun entered. PCC and pistols will have separate entry pages on PractiScore. Check in is at 9:00AM, match start is at 10:00. $20 match fee, $5 for each addition gun. The classifier may be shot by anyone, IDPA membership is not required at this club to shoot the classifier. Pistol is 72 rounds and PCC is 54 rounds.
