The Cannon TS6030E/21 is on sale at Tractor Supply. How do I know the sale is legit? I paid the non-sale price this summer.
As I said before it's not Browning, but it is what it needs to be. Good Luck!

With MLGW? Do you have a studio apartment? I can't say for sure what mine would have been (I'm on the plan where they average out your costs for the year and you pay the same each month), but I know my folks said their last bill was almost $500. Something about the heat index being over 115 that helps that bill go up.
And D3vo, what do you think of the TN heat? I work with a guy that moved up here from Miami a couple of years ago and he said he just thought he knew what heat was before moving.
He's right. It's hot here too, but you get time off for good behavior.

Saturday: Gun Show @ Goodlettsville Church of the Nazarene. Bought ammo at Goodlettsville Gun Shop. Looked at more guns @ Bellshire Hardware in Goodlettsville. I would say that was my perfect day.

The safes sold by Tractor Supply worked for me. Are there better ones out there? Yes there are, but it was a fit for my needs.

I lived the first 18 years of my life in South Florida where there are just two seasons (Hot & Hotter). When you don't grow up with seasons the fall, winter and spring are pretty special.

We have arrived.

Anyone else want to join us? I would like to fill the restaurant.

I'm in.. Show support while the news story is fresh.

I haven't used it, but AmmoEngine: 7.5x55mm Swiss (Schmidt-Rubin), Instock For Sale Premium & Discount Ammunition, Ammo Deals seems to be a good pricing tool.

Mrs. D3vo held both the S&W 642 and the LCR and the LCR won out because it was 2oz lighter. We planned to purchase the LCR real soon.
So with that in mind I started researching a good method of carry. I looked for hours to find a good IWB that supported the LCR w/ the Crimson Trace.
Every forum or product review I found said the LCR is a great pocket gun, but couldn't find a lot related to IWB or OWB.
I am not a fan of pocket carry because IMHO it violates a major rule of gun safety. "Treat the gun as if it's loaded and point in a safe direction".
Well it's loaded and its most likely pointed down you leg at me sitting in the restaurant booth across from you.
I found a photo on the web showing a LCR w/ Crimson Trace holstered in an IWB and didn't like what I saw.
This photo caught my attention due to the amount of trigger exposed. I looked closer and it appears the LCR cannot sit any lower due to placement of the Crimson Trace laser.
So I started comparing the 642 and LCR laser placement. The 642's CT laser appears to be located further back as not to expose the trigger.
I think we are moving back in the direction of the S&W. Anyone have any thoughts?

Thank you everyone who helped me prepare the short list for Mrs. D3vo to pick from. Mrs D3vo has chosen the Ruger LCR with the Crimson Trace grip.

That's amazing thing about emails and forum posts you assume you know what "jackpot" was in reference to. You think its "I am going to screw Walmart when it was simple excitement to see cheaper prices in another brand. Read through my posts They indicate I am just entering the .44 market. There was no malice. Again people are making a lot of assumptions here. I am not defending myself as to prove a point. You shouldn't call someone to the woodshed on the details from a simple post.
-
Its easier to defend snap judgments than to apologize for them.
Have we not learned anything from the Reloaders Bench and SRHEC threads.
Two more facts you should have since you were not there.
I did not ask for the override, but happy to accept it
It took a manager to override. No one was taken advantage of which is a major focus of your argument.
Furthermore I don't expect you will apologize although I believe you should.
-
Kinda like stealing?
As you knew it was in the wrong space.
Id not call that a win. I would have bought it like that.
First you don't know me and I don't know you, but you making an awful lot of assumptions.
Did you read that I had just started pricing .44 when I found this value?
Did you read the part when it rang up 32.00 and I was surprised?
Did you read the employees offered the price override?
Any part of this you witness personally?
I realize the internet offers a certain amount of anonymity to judge people, but it's really not nice.

I would be disappointed, but even the Carmax written offer to buy your car is only good for seven days.

Hi Jim, Welcome to TGO

Mrs. D3vo gave the green light to purchase a Taurus Raging Bull .44 magnum w/ an 8" barrel for my birthday.
So for the first time I was looking to price .44 magnum. I had complete sticker shock when compared with my usual 9mm and .40
So last night I was at Wal-mart when the clouds parted (it was at night), the sun shined down on a box of WWB .44 for 17.89
I thought "Jackpot", only to find the box was in the wrong location on the ammo shelf when it rang up 32.00
So the guys behind the counter (who usually work in electronics) said "Lets see if we can get a price override." I thought .44 magnum for 1/2 price would be legendary.
Well that's what happened. So nice job guys from Electronics.
I almost forgot I won our game of Wal-mart Bingo.
If you don't know what it is then Google it.

Tim - It was great meeting you this morning. It was a good day to shoot.

While gun registration isn't necessary, becoming a VOLS fan is required within the first six months.
I may just have to pay the fine.
Welcome to TN.

I appreciate the discussion.
Everyone has brought forward good questions and can't wait for Mrs. D3vo to read the thread.
Pistol vs. Revolver?
I mentioned that to Mrs. D3vo and I am not sure she knows why she is revolver focused. Seems most the ladies are carrying pistols based on other threads I have read.
-
Ladies I need your help.
Mrs D3vo is not a forum member (yet).
Mrs D3vo is looking for her first carry revolver.
She is partial to the wheel guns.
Does anyone EDC a revolver? What is it? Why do you like it?
If you could have your pick of revolver what would it be?
I hope to get a list to present, rent a few and let her pick her first EDC.

Finally a gun you can leave loaded on the nightstand a child can't fire.

Here is one more opinion to confuse the issue.
IMHO thin is in (single stack) and barrel length is less of a problem. I have an XDSC @ 1.2" thick which I personally dislike in a IWB. Its being moved to jacket weather months in a nice OWB. I plan to purchase an LCP for the warmer months.
As for the PK380. Its the size of some 9mm so get a 9.
Good Luck.
