wow i hate to bring up an old post but yall need to move to jackson! Krasner Pawn & Jewelry is 10$ fee + state 10$ fee. a 20 and your outta there in like 2 minutes total (with them doing it online now vs. the phone crap its much bette). also BILL'S PAWN SHOP is 15 + 10 and they will accept guns from an individual (gun broker). krasner and everywhere else in town they have to be from a dealer/FFL.

i'm in same boat looking for better safe, as others said dont get a little one just big enough or you will be pissed in a year or 2 when you buy another. Stack-On Fire Resistant Safe in Green - GSX-524-55-DS here is one i was lookin at at Dick's (dunno if you have one them nearby or not) but it is on sale there for $550, normally 700. and this site online is 595 w basic shipping, so same deal basically. it is fireproof and has shelves that you can use or remove, pretty good compared to what i been seeing, or for more like 700 is a waterproof/fireproof. anything on a smaller budget they have the little cheap thin metal ones for 100$ that keep the kids out and thats about it. seems like the in between price is kinda no mans land. good luck!

Yeah I plan on coming and bringing a few buddies. They did say they provide ammo too. That's what I was worried about!! Single fire it cost enough but full auto watchout. Hope they have some 100 rd drums...

Thinkin bout it. Always wanted a 50 and this would be better than spending 3grand to get one. Also the whole you're buying an upper not a whole gun is nice (shipped ups to the house). Can tell the wife honestly I just bought a new barrel not a new gun!

Yeah pretty much just wanting to hear reviews from any local unbiased folks that had shot them or been around one, sounds good so far. I heard too of some blow ups but I think they were old models or bad reloading (they're made to go boom, just goes boom the wrong way sometimes!). And I guess almost any gun ever made has had failures before being man made and man operated and all. Appreciate the info from everybody!!

Been eyeballing the BOHICA 50cal upper for a AR platform lower. I know the hypotheticals of a 50 on an ar lower but looking for anyone with firsthand experience or even 2nd hand (not through another website though as I've already looked around a lot on the sites w info.). I know it'll be no barrett but starting at 1295 it might be a foot in the door to the 50! Thanks!

Just a small suggestion that may or may not work out but would be cool feature. to have the city or location when someone has a wanted or for sale ad. or i guess without adding an extra box you could even suggest people add that to the title itsself. not a complaint just a possibly helpful suggestion. seems a lot of people i've seen are saying hey i want that or hey i have what you need, but i'm in knoxville and you're in memphis. those 2 are what seems like 2 states away but still in TN. just my 1 cent worth!

I did get an email (survey) from DPMS recently asking about what i would suggest if they were to start making a pistol. Had a ton of questions mainly geared at why I would buy a pistol from them over some other company. This is probably old news but I haven't seen it anywhere else yet (although I'm new to this forum). Something to think about though, they obviously are already.
