    People Getting Stretched to Limit. Credit Card Balances Soar.

    A mostly unreported issue:

    Mortgage escrow shortages / delinquencies are on the rise.

    Substantial increases in property taxes and home owners insurance are adding $300+ to mortgage payments.

    Credit card usage among homeowners is increasing as HELOCs are now maxed out and adjusting to current rates...and yes, it's for gas and groceries not fabulous vacations.

    Car Battery Recommendations?

    Just discovered my daily driver needs a new battery.

    Sat idle for 4 days, still has juice, just not enough to turn it over.

    Currently it has an Interstate, installed 10/2021, got 113k miles of use.

    Vehicle is a 2012 Mercedes GLK350; does not require a "specialty" battery and is a DIY project.

    Thanks for the help!

    I always knew this had been going on a long time.

    The Bible gives an example which occurred around 600BC.

    1 Samuel 13, verses 19-20

    "There were no blacksmiths in the land of Israel in those days. The Philistines wouldn't allow them for fear they would make swords and spears for the Hebrews. So whenever the Israelites needed to sharpen their plowshares, picks, axes or sickles, they had to take them to a Philistine blacksmith."

    Verse 21 talks about the fees (or tax) assessed for sharpening these tools in order to make them functional.

    1. Disarm the peasants

    2. Limit the ability for peasants, through high cost fees and/or taxes, to maintain any item as personal defensive or offensive weapon

    3. Make sure only those loyal to the rulers are armed

    .gov has been attempting to disarm us for almost 3000 years

    Bump, reduced from $225

    How about $200.00

    Swapped  to the OEM Ruger stock and don't foresee swapping back.

    Includes Magpul MOE SL-K stock and MOE-K grip.

    Note slight wear around  QD point, otherwise it's pretty clean.

    Buy it new for about $270-ish plus tax and shipping or save a few bucks and help a brother out.

    Knoxville area meet for immediate sale, for Nashville, Chattanooga and Tri Cities, I'd have to coordinate for when I am scheduled to be in your area.

    I have always liked square watches, but not enough to pony up for an authentic tank.

    This is a Peugeot, a well made fashion brand, though the leather band is pretty low budget.

    Going on two years of ownership with frequent (business) wear.
