  1. When you go to Bud's sight you click on hand guns then Taurus then revolvers. On the first page 6th down youwill see the model 2851129 which has a shrouded hammer. The one you are looking at has a hidden hammer but doesn't look as smooth. I have the shrouded hammer air weight S&Ws and they carry and handle real well. If you will look down page at the 2327129 it is a six shot 327 fed mag and is the same as the 85 for 290.Taurus gives you choices.

  2. Best price I can find on 32 is 16.18 per 50 rnds of fiocchi 32s&w long at cheaper than dirt. I do love the 22mag round. just wish there was a better option. Think I'll re- read Jeff Quinn's review on taurus' 941 in gunblast.

  3. I have experience with 22mag in a rifle and a single six. I've taken coyotes up to 250 yds with the rifle and gotten solid hits on dogs and coyotes in woods at around 30 yards. The 22wmr is a very deadly round but I would suspect it would take some delicate trigger work for it to be reliable in a DA. The heavy DA pull is what has stopped me from spending money on something in WMR. I'm thinking of trying something in 327 federal mag.

  4. Amen Mikegideon! I to think he is getting the words mixed up. Barney Frank, Harry reid, Howard Dean are liberals. Ron paul and Pat Buchanan are libertarians. I am a Jeffersonian Libertarian which is somewhere to the right of Ronald Reagan and Atilla the Hun. I give OB the credit for giving the orders; didn't think he had the cajones.

  5. What did Southerners loose when the CSA surrendered? They lost their country. Veterans lost the right to vote, right to assemble, right to wear their uniforms with the buttons on. Southerners coulds be and many were required to give the oath of allegiance to buy supplys, do business at court houses and minesters were required to ask a blessing for the yankee president and the local yankee army commander. other than that nothing.

  6. All this could be avoided by simply requiring everyone to have their voter registration card to vote. To get one you have to prove you are a citizen (liberals don't like that) and a resident of the state and district in which you are registeriing. we that are over 60 do not have to have a photo drivers license, and most folks don,t have a HCP; so theoretically one would have to get some type of photo ID.Some districts allow utility bills,SS card, library card a nd anything that puts them at an address in the district.

  7. Make it even simpler; looser pays the court cost. We do have to get away from so much litigation. A large portion of our society depends on those with deep pockets to make up for their failures and unwise financial decisions. Another thing would be to hold judges more responsible for what they allow to go to trail. Some of these suits should be laughed out of court. It has to do with our PC culture. And last but not least don't get me on the jury if you are going to sue someone.

  8. Ebow1, The various camps aren't organized that way. If you want to find more information on the SCV just contact the man handling recruiting. just google SCV.

  9. Ebow1, With a Confederate ancestor you are eligible to be a member of the Sons Of Confederate Veterans. If interested you can go on line and contact the SCV. the national HQ are in Columbia and there is a person in charge of recruiting that will respond.

  10. The hand gun firing portion is like and open book test, they will see that you pass. One man brought 41 cal. amo for his 45 acp ruger,so they just loaned him one of their peraonal guns and 9mm amo for the firing. I've carried in VA. Just read up on their laws.

  11. I have a cistern as back up for laundry and bathing. It's quite involved to get cistern water safe to drink. I have three 6 gallon water containers that I rotate for drinking. We are on city water that tastes like crap (worse than Mt. Juliet water), so I filter it twice at the sinks and three times at the reefer. The best water container you can get is a bleach jug. They are already clean. just rinse them out. I have several that are three years old and been on the tractors left in the trucks and frozen. They will last for ever when kept out of sun light.
