Hey everyone didn’t know where to post this, I just bought a stripped M39 receiver and want to put a M44 barrel on it but I am not sure if I need a tax stamp for a SBR or not can anyone clarify this?

Again, you'd be money ahead to just buy a decent one.
True I also just bought a stripped m39 receiver that I have plans for but for this one I am just going to work on it for fun

That's likely to do more harm than good. If not carefully done, it's easily possible to blow away parts of the action entirely. There's not much left in some places.
Glass beads would work better to remove the corrosion than sand (AlOx) with less metal loss. That said, I'd probably do it by hand. You'll have more in the blast work than you paid for the rifle.
agreed, i also posted this on another forum and someone said if the bore and whole receiver is good but the barrel is trash could just rebarrel it
-
someone on another forum suggested getting the barrel and action sandblasted, only issue with that is i dont know of any company that would do that especially with how guns are portrayed nowadays

just ordered a bore camera to look inside to see how it all looks, should be here tomorrow (thanks amazon prime!)

Do they sell PB Blaster in 55 gallon drums? I don't think a 5 gallon bucket will be enough.
I’m going to pick up some tomorrow to get the top receiver screw out, the bottom one was not to bad

Hey everyone so I bought one of the $119.99 mosins from classicfirearms and here is some pictures
*WARNING* the following pictures are not for the faint of heart! You have been warned!
also after wacking the bolt open with a rubber mallet I took it out and disassembled it and found that except for one part it’s in very good shape and should clean up nicely!

I'm a bit slow, but I never understood the hatred a lot of the world has for Jewish people.
Same here, it makes no sense to me at all, I also don’t understand about the whole thing with Palestine, but from the research I have done the Jews lived in Israel and sometime in the 1940’s or 50’s left and Whilenthey we’re gone Palestine moved in, its all very strange

Already took care of it just gonna wait though the ffl did know who I was as soon as he asked what rifle it was and I said Mosin and he said the box had rust flakes in it

Hey everyone I recently moved and have yet to get my new drivers license with my updated address but I do have a current passport with my name birth and picture and a voter ID card with my current address are these two documents enough to complete a background check for me to pick up a rifle from the FFL? Or should I just ask them to hold and hope my new license comes in the mail soon?

well i did contact them to get rid of the datacap which when i signed up they didnt tell me there was a cap or that i could get rid of it and they are sending a tech out tomorrow to try and fix it

hey everyone i have a whirlpool wet4027ew0 over/under washer/dryer and the dryer part works great however the washer does not fill up all the way or if it does it seems to lose water, does anyone know what the issue could be so i know what to tell the repair people so they can fix it?
note i did have an issue with it before where it was only using a trickle of water to try and fill it
-
i had TDS and currently from what i am told only comcast and maybe AT&T but i am not sure

You might want to just call them instead of waiting for someone to come out. If you are supposed to be at 1024 and you are at 3; you probably have equipment or account issues. They can check and reset all that remotely now.
Is that 3 on wired Ethernet?
thats on both wired and wireless and i have my own modem i do not rent one from them
-
thanks for the replies, i am just mad that in the middle of Providence and right next door where i live i can get my old provider but not at my new place, i will probably be calling them soon once i get fully moved to send someone out to check the wiring and everything cause i am not getting any where close to the speeds i am supposed to get, i did a couple of speed tests and i am supposed to get 1gig down and about 50 up, i was getting about 3mbps down and 9up
-
hey everyone, so i just moved from a apartment in mount juliet to a town home in a community right next door, but i cannt get my old isp here here and from what i am told it is because of comcast and at&t, my question is how can they do this? and is there anything that can be done government wise or something that can make stuff like this stop? i know the government shouldnt get involved but it seems like this is one thing that needs help, i just wanting thoughts on this cause my speed before was 1gig down and 400up which was great with no lag and now it is not even close to 1gig down and less than 25up.

hey everyone had an idea for something and wanted to see if it would be within the law, as you all know unless you live out in the country on your own land you cannot have a private range within city limits,
so my question is this, would it be legal to dig a big deep long hole, put down a concrete base,
then add two cargo containers end to end and cover the sides with more concrete, make the inside ballistically safe with sound baffles etc as well as A/C and ventilation for lead and then cover the top in concrete and add a big steel door with a concrete entrance way,
would this be a legal way to have your own range within city limits even know of course the cost would be high, its just something i am curious about and wanted to get your thoughts.

i think both but i cannot remember, i made a post a long time ago showing how to fill it out but it seems to be gone
