  1. I just got a new Taurus PT140 Pro with the Heine sights and I don`t like them. I have Bells Palsey and I have to shoot with both eyes open and I have a hard time seeing the rear sight. I just aline the front dot up with the slot in the reat sight. Beginning to get use to them but my change them later.

  2. I have had some guys say that a large Glock holster will work. I tried the one I have for my G21sf and it would work in a pinch but the gun does not fit real good. I can get a new Fobus made for this gun but I am not a big Fobus fan. I have one now for one of my Glocks but don`t use it a lot. I will keep looking and see what I can find. I may get the Fobus just so I have something that I can use for now.

  3. I have a TCP and love. It is a "A" number and I haven`t had a problem with it. I did a few mods after I got it to clean up some rough edges to help in the action. The recoil is a bit snappy but not bad for a small gun. I carry in a pocket holster in front pocket and don`t even know it`s there. If you have any questions on this gun go to; www.taurusarmed.net There is a lot of info here for all Taurus owners and the 738 has been one of the main topics and about every questions has been answered there. Good Luck

  4. Here in Nebraska you have to take a eye test and a writtne test ( 20 Questions ) If you pass the written you then have to take a driving test--unless you have taken a riders class and pass that, then you can skip the driving part of the test. If you ride your bike to the place that you take you test they will not give you your license even if you pass the riding part. They will make you come back another day. You have to have someone else bring your bike there for you and that person must have a motorcycle license or you can`t take the test then. Lots of BS to go through. I took mine about 40 years when all you had to do is take a written and ride around the block for them. Our onlu big problem is that you have to wear a helmet. All ages. They try to get it repealed each year but they have enough bike haters to keep it in force.

  5. I put on on my G26. I carry it in a DeSantis Mini-Slide holster with no problems. The holster is cut out where the mag release is and it doesn`t even come close. I have a week hand from arthritis so I need sll the help I can get.

  6. I have a 738 also with the A serial number. I have not had any problems with it. I did do a few mods to it to help it along. I shoot Speer Lawman FMJ ammo for practice and it runs fine. I have not had a problem with shells hitting me but have heard about it. If you haven`t heard about it go to www.taurusarmed.net You can fine a lot of info there. Enjoy your shooting

  7. I wished mine would try it. She doesn`t mind me having and shooting guns. She was raised on a farm and her dad had a gun around. I have always had a gun or two around since we were married--46 years now--and she is ok with that except she thinks that I have too many guns. One of her close friends is thinking about taking a gun class. Maybe that will change her mind.

  8. I am lucky enough to have my own range right out my backdoor. I live on a farm and have a business there. I have 38 acres of creek bottom to use. I set up a 30 foot pistol target and a 100 yard rifle range behind my business. I just walk out the back door and start shooting. I even have a enclosed area to shoot from if the weather is bad. I carry most of the time so I usually pop off a few on a daily basis. I have several friends who also carry so they stop by for a friendly match up. Good clean fun and practice all in one.

  9. You might check this. I was told by a repair shop that Chrysler uses a different anti-freeze and it won`t mix with the regular stuff. It will ball up and plug the heater core. I know that I have bought some made just for Chrysler just to have on hand in case I need it. Just another thing to check.

  10. The game and parks division here in Nebraska won`t admit to big cats being around either. I have had several people say they have seen one on my property. I have seen the tracks but not the cat. I have a trapper who has seen several Bobcats also when he is checking his trap line. The cats are out there regardless of what they say.
