  1. I've lived in Chattanooga all my life. I go to Riverbend almost every year. When I was in high school (9 years ago) me and a bunch of my friends went. As we walked in a cop approached me from my right side and grabbed me from behind my neck and escorted me to a trailer just beside the entrance. He pushed me up against the side and asked what I was doing. I said I came to see (insert random band here). He said you are not going anywhere with that knife sticking out of your pocket. It was maybe a 3 inch blade and couldn't have been been worth more than $10. He told me that I had to fill out this form and place it with my knife and I could get it back when I left. So when I left that night, I went back to the trailer to retrieve my "weapon". I asked for it and a lady showed me a large cardboard box full to the brim with knifes. There had to be at least 250 knives in there. Anyway point is, I have left my knife in my car every year since.

  2. That sounds great to me. I just know know enough of yall to PM everybody. Do you think we would have enough room to shoot? I know there are only like 4 or 5 benches up there. Does anybody have any other suggestion of another place nearby we could go?

  3. Hey folks,

Just wondering if anyone would be interested in meeting up for a shoot. Somewhere like Prentice Cooper? I don't know really any other places except Shooters Depot Indoor range. I'm just getting into this whole area and thought it would be a good chance to meet some people and see different guns. I'm looking at doing a carry permit class this summer. If anybody would be game, reply to this thread and we will see what we can come up with. Suggestions are recommended :D

  4. I have a Smith and Wesson Sigma Series 9VE. I saw last week it was 289.99 at Academy Sports and Outdoors for the 9mm or .40 cal. We take it to the range almost every month and put at least a box of 100 through it. They sell cheap 9mm rounds by Monarch for 9.99 but are on sale this week for only 7.99 for a box of 50. Cheaper than shooting almost anything but a .22. Bought 3 boxes just the other day and we are going back for more tonight. Great gun, never have had any misfires and my wife loves shooting it too.

  5. Hey fellas,

Looking to buy my first .22LR. I check the local stores and found my top two. I really liked the feel of the Savage 64. It had a wood stock and a bushnell scope. They wanted $189 for it but the guy behind the counter said it should come down to $159 within the next month or so. The other gun is the ruger 10/22. It too had a wood stock but no scope. It was $208 but he said the other store just across the road has the same gun for $189 and he could give it to me for that. He recommended the ruger because you can change a lot of the parts out but I probably wont do any of that. This is my first rifle. I have a Smith and Wesson Sigma 9mm that we shoot every month or so and use it for home defense. I don't anticipate going hunting with this rifle. Just shooting some paper and the occasional coke can. If anybody has either of these guns or has shot them, give me some info. Thanks in advance guys!
