The MP-41 (M.P. 41) submachine gun was developed by Hugo Schmeisser, son of the Louis Schmeisser who developed the first practical machine gun, the MP-18. At the time of development of MP-41, the company C.G.Haenel, at which Schmeisser was chief designer, manufactured MP-40 submachine guns for German army. Based on the highly successful MP40, the MP41 incorporated a wooden stock and was select fire. The MP41 saw limited production and was issued primarily to the SS Troops. Our reproduction is all metal and wood construction. The magazine is removable, the bolt trigger and selector switch all function.

This impressive replica measures approximately 34 inches long. With its realistic look and feel, this MP41 Submachine Gun makes for a great decoration and display piece.
