Imagine the world if the news media just reported the facts. No spin. No bias. Imagine if newspapers did not endorse a candidate, but reported the candidates position accurately and fairly. Imagine a network anchor saying that the president's proposal was just Stimulus 2.0 and ask him why he keeps trying the same thing over and over again.

Couldn't happen because, "reported the candidates position accurately and fairly" even the candidates won't do that during an election.

"Imagine a network anchor saying that the president's proposal was just Stimulus 2.0 " this would be an opinion. An acurate opinion probably, but still an opinion.

"Imagine the world if the news media just reported the facts. " When I was a kid I read of such a place. In the Superman comics they called it Bizzaro World where everything was backward.

It would be nice if they had to state it was an opinion before saying one. People would get tired of hearing that real fast.
