Anyone Bow-Fish?

Recommended Posts

I am wanting to get into shooting carp and other "trash" fish. I've heard a youth bow is suitable and you can add the line and spool and everything. Do any of you on here do it? If so, will you post some pics of your bow? Thanks

Used to do this years ago, mid to late '60s. Had a long bow. Very good with that thing. 55# pull, spool, 110# text braided

line. After I got my legs shot up in 'Nam, couldn't handle stringing the thing up very well & traded for a compound bow.

Never could get back to the degree of accuracy I had with the other one.

Lot of fun tho, with carp, etc. Go for it, you'l enjoy it. Good practice for deer season as well..
