Marlin 336 R.C. lever-gun question...

Gents, I have a need and a request.

I have a 1949 Marlin Model 336 RC levergun .30-.30. The buttplate on it is GONE! It must have cracked and split last time we moved. Regardless, it is gone, so i have nothing to compare it to.

Any of you guys have a photo of your 336 RC so I can compare it with what I have found online? I found some stuff at MidwayUSA, but it is still not absolutely specific. Want to make sure and get the exact thing I need.

So, any pics? And...know of a good place to get it?

Thanks fellas.

Piney, you are the man.

The schematic (the only one I've ever seen) took me right to what I needed. They had it for like $ 8

Thanks.

Mods, feel free to close...problem solved.

Numrich Gun Parts has had everything I've ever looked for.

EDIT

I checked, and a buttplate and spacer are $7.85 with shipping. But, they are out of stock. It seems lots of people are breaking their buttplates.

Thanks again.

They had the first 336RC schematic that I have ever seen. Great info!!

I want to put down the Remmy Model 700 .30-06 this year, and try to kill a deer with it. My dad killed his first deer with it nearly 50 years ago in Virginia. I killed a Corsican ram with it, but never a deer. I've had it since my 10th birthday. I'm 36 now.

I have promised it to my 6 year-old son on his 10th birthday.

So, I got to get going.

Going to try the new Hornady LEVERevolution ammo.

That's a great site for lots of things, thanks.
