Had a good time shooting last night with a lot of good people. It was great to meet new people that love the same thing as I do. I was really impressed with how everyone was pasting every single time. Hats off to David Park,Mick Houston and the Nashville Armory crew that stayed to the end and pasted the business hours. I really recommend these matches that David Park puts together especially for guys and gals that can't make the weekend matches in the surrounding area . I met a fella last night that just join IDPA and I asked him if he was shooting with us his response was "I'm just gonna watch". But I told him that he was going to regret it, before we can finish the first stages he came up to me and said "your right" I wish I would have brought my pistol now. I know most of us at the beginning we were always worried about how we are going to look in front of strangers, I know I have in the pasted. But David Park runs a great match at the Nashville Armory and he welcomes everyone with whatever your shooting skills would be.

I'm still a newbie to IDPA.  Have only shot 3 matches so far, all have been at Nashville Armory.  I will second ir0nreign10's remarks above.  While I don't have anything to compare to David's matches, I will say that David, Mick, Jim, Darryl and the others have always been great.  I've always felt this is a place and match where I can learn and gain skills.  The crew is friendly, and the courses of fire are challenging, but not too challenging for a newbie to participate.

In addition, with Jim there, I'm not the only sixgun shooter in the crowd.

It takes a brave man to shoot IDPA with a revo especially being new to the game. I always enjoy seeing guys shoot revo thinking that one day I can shoot one sometime in the future in a match. TNJed44 you done well I thought you ran your pistol just like how you would. Great Job

Thanks for the positive feedback, guys! It's a pleasure to design courses of fire for enthusiastic shooters. I'm enjoying it as much as you guys, and I really appreciate Nashville Armory for letting us have the match at their outstanding facility, and for not complaining when we run late from time to time.
