I found this on another site. Here are some places that are showing appreciation to all of you military personnel.

Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar

Applebees invites all active duty and veterans to one of their 164 locations nationwide to pull up a chair for a delicious meal with their heartfelt thanks this Veteran's Day, Nov. 11. Veteran's will be able to select one complimentary entrée from five featured favorites that come with the traditional sides. Proof of military service is necessary. Golden Corral

The 2008 Military Appreciation Monday dinner will be held on Monday, November 17, 2008 from 5 pm to 9 pm in all Golden Corral Restaurants. The free thank you dinner is available to any person who has ever served in the United States Military. If you are a veteran, retired, currently serving, in the National Guard or Reserves, you are invited to participate in Golden Corral's Military Appreciation Monday dinner. Dillard's Department Store

Military Appreciation Days will be observed in all Dillard's stores on December 3rd and 4th. Servicemembers and their immediate Families will receive 10% off of furniture and appliances, and 20% off of all other merchandise on 2-3 December. Policemen, Firefighters and Active Duty Servicemembers will keep the receipts from their purchases and provide them to the Customer Service office with valid ID's (Families must provide a dependant ID card) and they will be reimbursed the 10- 20% discount for their purchases. *This promotion is not applicable to Retirees and Reservists not on an Active Status*

Oh crap, I just looked at their webpage and the local Applebees don't honor the free meal. I called one of them and they will give a 10% discount though. Nice try, but, Sorry, not good enough.

I'm scheduled to work the 17th during the Golden Corrals meal so thats out of the question. Dang, I guess just pbj's or bologna sandwiches then.
