This is what you would have seen if you drove past my house sunday, looks like it should be a commercial! Thats a 189,000 mile 1993 F150 pulling behind it a hand-me-down (from my daughters great grandfather, who bought it new, to her grandfather, to me) 1966 ford F100, that was given to me.

Being as its a Ford I guess you just jump in it, crank her up and go take a spin! :)

Probably could... but there's no fun in leaving anything stock. :screwy:

The plan is to restore it. Beyond that, its got a 240 straight six and a 3 speed on the column in it right now. It does run, but it's sat about six months, and he had the carb apart before that, and its not right, so if you take the choke off, it dies. Basically, right now, I'm gonna just get the 6 running, as it supposedly runs great when its tuned right. When that 40 year old engine gives up, it'll probably get a v8 (351?), and eventually, my daughter will end up with it, once she learns to take care of it of course! Lets see....she'll be 3 at the end of february...so by the time she's old enough to drive I might almost have it done! Looks good sitting in the garage next to my '72 duster though lemme tell ya! Until I remember the couple hundred hours of work I have ahead of me...

BUILT. FORD. TOUGH.

The best never rest. We used to have a burnt orange '66 model we lovingly referred to as Big Bronze. I learned to drive in a '79 F-250 pulling a hay wagon.

My best memories are from Fords. Plus, I'm pretty sure I was conceived in a 1969 Mustang Mach1 with a 428 Cobra Jet 4-speed. Wish I had it now .

Yeah, my dad had a 1978 E250 van with a 351, and a 3 on the tree. He was the second owner, and had that puppy since something like 1980, it was all done up for trips, shag carpeting, wood paneling, bed in the back, red velvet curtains front and rear. It was his baby, and it'd seen the vast majority of the country from one coast to the other. Then he went bear hunting and a measly 16 miles from home a woman fell asleep, went straight through a corner, and nailed it right in the drivers door, and flipped it on its side. Totalled, no fix to it.
