  1. Absolutely this.
Which is also why I don't understand how some Christians believe those that practice another faith won't be found in their afterlife. That's a club I don't want part of..

I told someone something along those lines a while back. You'd have thought I punched them in the face....it was funny.
A lifetime of Christian doctrine has taught me there's only two options. Heaven or hell. I sure hope that's wrong. If God really loves us, there's gotta be a third option. No one in their right mind wants to burn in a lake of fire. On the other hand, if even half the Christians I've met here in the Bible Belt are to be found in heaven, I ain't interested in that either cause that heaven....it's just hell with air conditioning.

  2. ... especially when the reverend Abdul is telling everybody to lop off your head if you don't join up.

I don't think anybody on here wants to see innocents die. The jokes are in the same spirit as the ones about California sliding into the ocean. I have good friends in California. But, if it breaks off and slides into the ocean, the percentage of assholes in this country will decrease significally (tragic as it would be).

The term you're looking for is "Greater Good"

  3. I guess, but people can and do leave their origins.  I was raised by beehives and denim skirts constantly telling me I'm gonna "Buuuurn in Heyyyyyuhlllll".   Turned 18, told the thumpers if I'm going to hell, be sure and save me a seat.

I will backpedal a little I suppose, only inasmuch as the SEVERE indoctrination young ones have to suffer at the hands of these animals.  BUT, 99% of humans are born with a functioning conscience.  You KNOW what's wrong.  BUT, in the end, a man knows what he's doing is wrong and can walk away or die.  There IS a choice.

  4. There's nothing about being a Muslim that has anything to do with race. It's a lifestyle choice. A man don't choose to be white, black, Jew or puerto rican. He DOES choose to follow a given religion. Or in this case, a cult.

I despise Islam and the fact that there may be some who ignorantly follow that contemptuous filth who are decent enough folks is irrelevant. It doesn't change the fact that it's the only religion of any consequence that daily shows its evil nature. I don't care what God a fella wants to follow but when it destroys lives it should be treated in kind. Kill it.

No religion is without some dirt on their hands but you don't see Buhddists, Taoists or Hindus acting like this. AND despite their checkered past, Christians don't act like this either.
I will go on record too as saying IF the Christian (so called) church wanted to act like they did in the dark ages, I'll be first in line to say put the Pope on the end of a rope and shove a cross up a bible thumpers butt. But I won't have to because they don't act like that.

It's clearly evident that race is not a factor here. Middle eastern Muslims, African Muslims...Jihad John...the list goes on. All walking peices of human fecal matter.

  5. Are you tired of carrying around the tools to adjust your gas block?  ME TOO!   It requires a LONG allen wrench for adjustment.  This could get bent easily.  I don't need to make frequent adjustments but as I play with different loads I have found accurate loads that don't cycle until I open up the gas flow.  SO I do need the tool from time to time.  To cut down on nasty crap in my action, I like to keep the gas as low as it will go and still cycle.  Running a can is nasty and any help keeping it clean is welcome.

I took two old crappy weaver rings, chucked them in the four jaw and mowed them down in the lathe.  Then flipped them and drilled a thru hole.  One I made a thumb screw for and my gas block adjustment tool holders were born.  Gave them squirt of engine paint and put them on.  Out of sight, out of mind and handy if I need it.

  6. That movie came to my mind as well.  I've got kids and the opening of that movie sickened me in the same way as this story.  And honestly, I didn't watch the video.  Didn't want to.

I know there's sociopaths/psychopaths in every society, but taking away all references to religion of any sort, this is just completely inhumane.  To prey on the completely helpless and then celebrate it?  That's just incomprehensible.  If the "peaceful Muslim" world doesn't vehemently denounce this...

The absence of their voice against this is the presence of their voice for this.

  7. I've said this about other apocalyptic discussions and it's valid here too.

If the Muslims think they can be savage and brutal....they can't come close to a good father or mother that loves their children. The difference being what it takes to get good people to that point. If it becomes a common place thing here in the states for instances such as the OP posted, you will see.

Many of you guys are truly good men and won't admit or maybe refuse to let your mind 'go there' but I say woe to those who would move against your children and there will be no mercy for those who actually do. You take a man that lives for nothing but his family and he comes home from a hard days work to find his wife raped and dead and his children decapitated.....he has nothing to lose and a simple bullet to the head will not satiate him.
For reference material, watch Gerard Butler in Law Abiding Citizen.
I wouldn't implicate myself by aiding someone in such an endeavor.....but know I wouldn't stand in their way.

Sooner or later this is showing up in our streets, in our towns, in our cities.  They know the thing that we value most as a society is our children, and that's where they will hit us.  But we continue to usher them in because we feel safe in our moral superiority.

    God help us.

I fear that's a very real and very soon coming future.

I'm no soldier or anything, but it's gonna be LOUD. Very loud. That's all I'm saying.

  9. I bought a double star upper a few years ago from the guys who sell them at the gun show. It had a free float tube and I noticed it was loose when I got home. Curiosity peaked and screwed it off. Noticed the nut was touching the gas tube. Gave it a wiggle and it moved. Not even remotely tight.

Remember the old Russian proverb Reagan used to say? Trust but verify.
