Pretrips ain’t just for big trucks y’all.

I was going to say that too.

I have a pretrip check off list for our haul trailers, prior to them leaving the shop.

  2. Looks like a POS Dexter 18k+/- dually axle.

most likely: lug nuts loose, fatigued the center section of the wheel(s) until it failed.

or some studs failed overtime, seen a bearing failure do that to.

Is this the original version or the second generation of the shotgun?

Folding stock, hook, pump/semi is the original version. I own one.

Many times I drove straight into Mexico without a single LEO, agent, or official glancing my way much less stopping anyone to check documentation or cargo. There were not even any gates or stops, just rolled right on through. There was far more scrutiny when arriving by air.
Getting back into the US is a different story. Even learning the tricks, times of day, and best locations it was usually a 45 minute to 2 hour ordeal with a ridiculous line on the bridges. Add in that at least 30% of the time our vehicles were pulled to the side and searched and it is pretty clear who is somewhat serious about border security. I could have driven a truck full of weapons, ammo, and explosives into Mexico at anytime as long as I came back with an empty vehicle.

Man I do miss the tacos though...

    It's taco Tuesday all day!!

I have had to show my form 4 copy to law enforcement. Most of the time they won't even notice a SBR, but when they hear machine gun fire they start asking questions. Of the 2 times I showed it, I don't think the local officer even knew what he was looking at, but it satisfied them both times. Well one of them still tried to give me trouble, saying civilians can't own a machine gun, even with paperwork, but I told him to call his supervisor and he straightened it out.

It's really not that big of hassle to own class 3 stuff, although some would say that it can add a aggravating factor if you ever use your class 3 firearm in self defense. I never carry a class 3 firearm as my primary self defense weapon.

agreed never use C3 for self defense, no need to interject the feds into your life.....ever...

I had a encounter with LE years ago, seen 3 guys who looked like LE and the far end of the shooting lane, did a mag dump, 1 guy headed my way, you cant own that, me I'm legal, him no way, me I have papers but you might want to contact your supervisor, him I'm the chief of police, ok try the city attorney or I can google the number for ATF in Nashville and you can speak to a field agent, turned away and left........wasn't even trying to be a di<k either...

  6. They need to edit their comments in that article, Russians dying daily

The decision to pursue an intermediate caliber round came out of the Small Arms Ammunition Configuration Study, which emerged from concerns about body armor improvements among Russian and potentially Chinese troops.

    where's the saw?
