That's a great idea.
Many years ago, went to a ear doctor in Knoxville and saw many American Rifleman mags around with the person's name and address marked through on the delivery address, was this yours?
-
Learned something new today. I have never known there was such a thing as a bad Glock mag (OEM of course). How to detect? I guess you shoot the dickens out of them into the 1000s. Then if you have failure, paint it or something to distinguish it, and continue on.

Leave your EDC of pocket knives and guns at home or in the car! Bring lots of gun mags (Guns & Ammo, SWAT, & American Rifleman). And for Pete's sake, don't apologize for the U.S., O has already done that. Don't forget, the Euro is trading around ~1.12 USD to 1 Euro, don't get took!

I admit my first ever handgun was the Beretta 92FS after watching the movie Lethal Weapon. In this scene below, this is what sealed the deal for me!

There was a guy at Wally a few months back, I could have easily pick pocketed his piece. I do often think about that myself. I would hate to be shot by own my piece from someone else.

He didn't say nothing, I killed them all in my area with my AR!
Fog and rain today, so Spring is near! Yea!

I want my 15 minutes back. Seriously, that could have been a lot worse, considering the high speed through town.

I have the 30S, and I like it better than I had originally thought I would. Its my EDC.
For actual physical gun modification, I believe in keeping it stock. I did add talon grips though.

He could be kin to Roy Mercer.
If Craigslist was around when I was young and going through the Roy Mercer phase, I would have had some fun. I actually did have fun with the classifideds, until caller ID came out! :(

Retirees you are welcome what I pay in SSI, but you earned it. You people on the teet of the government, that can work, but won't work, get a job.
I had very high blood pressure moment the other day at Walmart, two ladies who in front of me had 2 buggies each as full as you can get them, pulled the patriotic plastic to pay, the cashier says you owe $100 something in the balance (total bill was like $300 something). She opens a wallet, and hundreds and hundreds of dollars, and paid the rest. Geeze.................
I wanted to say you are welcome!

Though this has been discussed many times and has often been the answer, so the doctor can remind you how dangerous guns can be, but in lieu of the changes to the VA benefits and recent EO on SS benefits, I would tell them to pound salt!
VA benefits, under the O administration, if a VA beneficiary cannot manage their affairs, guns can and will be confiscated. With the recent O EO, social security beneficiaries can too.
So how will these agencies know if there are guns in the home, (tic toc tic toc.......), through ones medical doctor, that is who.

Here is a general rule:
Figure up how many square feet you think you need. Now multiply by 2. I have heard too many war stories of how many men either built a garage or shop too small.
One of my buddies built a shop about 20 years ago, and used telephone poles as the upright poles, and the rest in steel. He had the the concrete floor poured after the building was erected. I believe he went large, maybe a 40x80. He did all of the work himself, except when he needed extra hands. He did have access to a scissor lift, which made all of the difference, and I recall he burnt up several chorded drills for all of the screws for the metal roof. He was single at the time, and built a small efficiency apartment inside in the corner which was very modern and very cool. He had insulation, but I don't remember what he had.
Had another buddy build one, but he added a layer of security, he used block for the first 5 or 6 feet high. His other building which he did gunsmithing on the side, kept getting broken into. Not through the door, but the idiots were removing the side panels to gain entrance.

Sorry to hear about your bad luck. It's funny you brought this up because I was actually about to start a new thread to ask a question about my hot water heater.
When we bought the house back in September the inspector said it was the original hot water heater(11 years old now) and he recommended having someone out to perform routine maintenance.
Has anyone ever done this? I'm just wondering what type of maintenance should be done.
I use to see my dad about every 3-5 years, turn the power off, then drain it, and remove the buildkup inside the tank. I think 99% of all elements go out, is always the lower element. Its caused by the buildup.

That looks like a 17 cut to 19, which I hear is often the case, but is a 19 when you look at the other side. Wow, it has a number of bids (now at $1,225) and it has 6 days to go.

I bet you a 22lr round, this will take traction and grow for the shows at Chilhowee:
PS I bet they didn't protest long in the cold and snow. And I did get my question answered if there was a gun show or not
Protesters don't want gun show in their neighborhood
Updated: Sat 7:59 PM, Jan 23, 2016KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)- Despite the cold weather, a group of people in East Knoxville stood outside to have their voices heard.
They're upset about the Chilhowee Park gun show happening in their neighborhood. They say this hits too close to home after several teens were shot and killed by gun violence in that same area.
"We're not saying they're doing anything wrong or anything like that, you know we don't know. But what we are saying is that guns are being supplied out on these streets." said Lawrence Williams with World United Ministries.
He says they plan to continue to protest at each show held at Chilhowee Park.

Hate to hear that. We had a run on appliances too, both at our home and our rental that we own. That hurt.

Someone give us a update. Is it on? Any deals? Anyone there? Hello.

I definitely was late to the party. Bought this movie this week, and finally watched it last night. Much much better than my expectations, and really enjoyed it. It is definitely one of the better action movies that has come out in a good while.
I read above a sequel will come out, and googled it.

I see the one in Paris has been cancelled due to weather but nothing yet on Knoxville. I would assume it's still going on. Bet there won't be much of a line out front tomorrow morning. Might be a good time to find a deal.
You assume vendors will be there? How many tables with goods must be present for you to feel good about your gate fee. 1, 10, 20, 50, 100, 500?

It will push people to what O wanted to shutdown.................oh maybe that is what he wants. More government creating problems so it can step in solve problems.

Squeaky wheels will get the grease. Lots of truth. If you are not successful the first time, try try again. Take the high road, just lobby hard in a nice professional voice. Hang up, and try again, again, again.

How about the Winchester 1886 or the Taylors Ridge Runner. Hickok45 just did a great review just this week on the Taylor. I would like to find a good Winchester, but not at a collectors price.

Ever brought a gun because of a TV show or movie.

One more admission, this played role in my love affair of side x side double barrels:
