    I would prefer to have a GI model Colt that is made to shoot. I referenced the newer traditional model because I figured that would be a good place to start. I want a shooting Colt GI model. Not a collectors item. Thank you for the inquiry.

    I am looking for a standard GI Colt 1911, also called the traditional style on their website. Stainless or Blued is okay with me, or a Stainless Springfield Mil Spec model. Please let me know if you something. God bless.

    if it had the older style grip panels i would buy it today. That is a great price. GLWS

    Looking to see if anyone has any factory 228/229 grip panels? Also custom panels are welcome. In fact if you have extra grips for this model and are willing to sell them please let me know! thanks!
