I think you adjust the flat head screws, not the thumb screws? Nice old scope, I got a couple K4's from back in the 60's
Thanks, cool part is its still attached to the Winchester 81DL it was mounted on and in use today. -
Bump for rimfire people.

I'm all for it and can't see any reason why not. I can buy nails at a hardware store and I don't have to go to a nail store to buy big nails. I can see why liquor stores may object to this but it's pretty common around the country.
Relocated from Virginia in 2005. It's normal there to run to the ABC Store to get your bourbon. Milk and wine at the grocery. Won't bother me now anyways, I've been dry for 4 years. There are a few shops in my neighborhood I wouldn't mind seeing vanish.

I'm traveling thru it Friday afternoon and back Monday. Might have to change my route. Thanks for the heads up.

Around your residence yes. LEO wants to see it, not hear about it coming in the mail.

Welcome to the forum.

I've got some of this stuff. I couldn't get it to cycle in my antique selection of plinkers. Longest 50 round session I ever had.

I'm going to stop at one I always pass heading to my grandparents place next week. Zip 24171. Never have stopped but I drive right past on the way to Martinsville. Thinking I might have to dress down before leaving here so I don't look like a city slicker. Hill country right there.

I've got a good pile of this (in Remington). Just curious about the bite from 180gr. Normally use 165 and its fairly stout. Haven't shot down to the 180 stuff yet.

Seem like he resurfaced. Used an FFL finder at a frequent gun site and it showed as an "INC". Didn't move far from the shop location

Since trolling the internets, I am assuming that the top flathead screws back out and adjust by turning the "thumb" screws? Can't seem to find any adjustment information online. Factory mounted on a Marlin 81DL if it helps.

Those Winchester Henry rifles make mine look like a Red Rider BB gun. Serious stuff listed there.

Thanks for saving me gas. Wanted to get out today, oh well.

When I go home, I'll have to check this place out.

Spring Hill is going nuts. Housing is low, in the process of getting two major health care facilities open (for the spouse). Health care in general is huge around here. Also Williamson County is one of the best school districts in the state. Commuting out of here is a little slow, tack on 15 minutes to a normal ride if your going north on I65.

The best $10 spent in a while. Dad left me a Ruger MK1. Went to Rugers site, filled out the form for a product history to see what comes back. Pistol (quoted as a "RST-4") was shipped September of 1974. Along with the fact sheet was an Instruction Manual with a copyright of 1981. The parts list and MSRP's listed are true to date also. The frame at when this was printed was a staggering $50.50. Still shoots lights out too at almost 40 years old. Now if I could just find some grips so I can put the originals away.

Florida WAS a good place to visit.

I think I'm going to try pjholster. I have a leather one now that I tried and it works, but not as "slick" as I'd like. Looked at alabamaholster also, but the lead times are way out.
Ordered a pjholster. 5-6 weeks right now. -
You have a picture or email one? From what I found so far on the serial number its an N-frame, 1925ish. K frames normally have a C, D, or K somewhere in the serial number.
Edit: or scrap my thoughts. -
Ordered some .357mag January 16 without any issues. Didn't run into the stock issue with that order. First time using them too.

I guess I need to pay those folks a visit and see what they've got.
The inventory has grown over the last year. My only gripe is parking is a pain, there are only 5 or 6 places. One lap around the block and there will be a spot open. -

Not sure why News Channel 5 would have this listed after blasting Barrett a few days ago. That's my go-to shop now. Might have to find something else in there to buy. Nice folks.

Just ran out of patience trying to get the baseplate off to compare springs. I'll pull it off tomorrow. But yes, it is a factory 10+2.
