I’ve got into the Ring cameras. New house so we tried the Ring door bell. The Echo Show is linked to so you can see who it is. Or ask Alexa to “show me the front door” and she does. Looking at getting something for the back of the house too. We’ve already got a flood light so the camera might be a little cheaper.

Not bad at all. I'm not much on plastic, so I'll just ignore the M&P. Although I do hear they're great guns.
That 1911 looks to be the 3" Compact version. Is it or are my old eyes playing tricks on me? I thought the Champions were all 4" models?
It's 4" I believe. The M&P is 4.25". That may be what's throwing you off.

Congratulations. Looks like the m&p needs some tlc. Is that a little rust under the take down lever?
No. The lever is fine. The trigger pin is dirty though. Haven't had time to clean it. Just moved 2 weeks ago and getting cardboard boxes emptied and house put together has priority these days.

After getting back to work a little over a year ago finally got to scratch my 45acp itch. Picked up these two in the last 4 weeks. The M&P thankfully came with a box of range lead and I had someone local check his shelves and found 2 50 round boxes of Speer Gold Dot. Need to get out to the range!
Standard M&P with fiber optic front.
The Champion has Novak nights that still work. Not sure of the age on it but spring is stiff and trigger is crisp. Holster is on the way.

$20 for 6 month membership is well worth it.
Welcome to the forum. -
I forget how things were pre kids. I must have been really bored. One 11 the other 7. It’s nonstop cleaning and going to someone’s sport or throwing some type of ball. I thought paying someone to mow my lawn was stupid! I was stupid.
Happy Father’s Day to all dads. Now I gotta mow the lawn. Can’t get the grass guy this weekend.- 1

Kleenbore Lead Away is the best thing I’ve used to clean the front of the cylinder on powder burn. Use it sparingly on the rest of the frame as it will start to polish it My 686 no dash dates to 1986. Goes with me most range trips. Welcome to the club!

It's amazing that the "pain" (a weird soreness and tightness) comes mostly from my lower arm at the radius and not at the bicep. I mean... the bicep hurts too, but where I really feel it is down there where the tendon connects to the bone and other muscles.
I'm starting to figure out some of those workarounds. Like... flexing my arm is fine if I keep it perpendicular to my body where no real weight is being applied to the bicep/tendon, versus if I try it with my arm hanging parallel at my side.
A surprise to me is how much that whole mechanical assembly is involved in the simple act of buttoning my pants and cinching my belt. That is a real treasure right now. Just the joy of joys.
Once mine healed up then pronator ares syndrome showed up. In PT now for that. Pinched nerve in the elbow. Sends pain along the bicep to the middle of your forearm. Deodorant was a painful task at one point.

Just recovered from that myself. At 43 years old, this stuff takes a lot longer to heal up than I’d like but I found ways to not activate my bicep. Just finally got to hammer curls almost a year later. Get well sir.

Gas is gone here in Spring Hill now, south of Nashville. From what I hear, it's almost gone in West Knox as well.
The Kroger on Port Royal got a truck about dinner last night. I was coming back from football practice and it was backed up into the road. It’s a mess.

She was just exercising her personal rights and freedoms to have and carry a firearm without needing a Handgun Carry Permit. You all should be so proud.
Thought that starts July 1 but could be wrong. If she isn’t on her property that’s an issue too. Pretty sure she doesn’t have a permit. Head hurts so I can’t keep piling on what else is wrong. Proud of what again?

How does one get an enhanced permit? Mine is a lifetime permit.
I believe if you got it before the enhanced vs online permit issue it defaults into enhanced. There isn’t any notation on your permit either. It’s sort of a mess you’d say.

Looks like you have a few listed now. Guess I was confused on your post. The weather has worn me out today.

Looking for a jewelry appraiser from Nashville to Columbia. Found a couple in Franklin but wasn’t sure if anyone here does it or knows of a solid choice.
