  1. I would double check your invoice and look at the part number.
Vortex has minimum advertised pricing. The FFP 4-16x50 are MAP at $899.99, the Second Focal Plane are MAP at $699.99
If you could provide a link... that would be great!
Either way, you will be happy with Vortex products. I have a Viper PST FFP 4-16x50 on a Savage .308 at love it.
Vortex has some real nice glass

I got the last one in stock

    http://tradingplacepawn.com/vortex-viper-pst-4-16x50-ffp-riflescope-ebr-1-moa-reticle.html

It was slashed and it showed the sell price when it was added to cart

Here's the lower portion of my invoice ... I used the $10 off coupon ... Plus free shipping over $150 Is standard

  2. I've seen alot of reviews and the specs look good. They have the same scope with FFP recticle, but about $200 more. Let us know how you like it. I've seen it on sale at Optics Planet, but my budget is lower.

The one I have coming is the FFP model ... That's why I was so shocked at the sale price because it's $899 everywhere else but I got it for $689 shipped

I called to verify and apparently they were just liquidating some of the optics they had
  3. Well typically I would do more research and ask questions before I purchase something ....

But I got an absolutely smoking deal on a Vortex Viper PST .... I got a PST 4-16x50 FFP MOA for $689 Shipped!!! I almost thought it was an error at first but I called to verify and it actually will be delivered tomorrow ...

Anyone running the PST line? I had a PST 1-4 but I sold the gun before I even got to use it
  4. Here are the $30 differences... I would rather pay the $30 more but either way $99 shipped for a NiB BCG is insanely cheap when you compare

$99 round cut, no logo, 30 day warranty, investment cast key, investment cast extractor, NiB extractor

$129 angle cut, logo, lifetime warranty, billet key and billet melonite extractor
  5. Very Nice. I literally just finished my 300 Blackout Pistol a little while ago today. I have my suppressor, but I am waiting on a 5/8 adaptor for it (it is a 9mm can with a 1/2x28 right now). So in the meantime, I put a Noveske KX3 on it so I can start some subsonic load testing. I am hoping by using the KX3 that it will mimic somewhat the backpressure of the suppressor so I don't have to adjust the gas block after I get it set the first time. Looking forward to hopefully getting out this week and doing some testing. I put a cheap red dot on it until I figure out what kind of scope/sightes I want to get for it.

Mine is a TGO Upper/Lower with 8.5" McGowen Barrel. Can't wait to shoot it.

Looks great man! The KX3 is effective at what it's designed for ... I have ran one on a pistol build and really liked it
  6. Well I am finally building a 300blk… I have gathered the majority of my parts and I assembled my upper for the most part last night

    Noveske Stainless 10.2" Barrel
    Noveske N4 Upper
    Noveske 9" NSR
    Rainier Raptor CH
    BCM BCG

I really like the NSR hand guard… It was somewhat of a pain to install compared to some other hand guards I've used in the past... but it was worth it

I have a SpecWar 7.62 can in "Jail" that I will be using on this setup… I just filed my form 1 for my noveske lower as well :-)

    Sorry for the crappy pics

  7. It's funny you should ask ... I bought one littearly 3 days ago ... 10.2" 300blk

I contacted a guy selling one on gunnroker and got him to come down on the price ... I still paid a premium but I got exactly what I wanted
  8. Ive ran a ton of this ammo through my G19, P226, Hi-Point Carbine, XDS... Never had any issues and all my guns still function and shoot just fine... Sure it can be harder on the extractor and possibly the barrel the bi-metal jacket... But how many rounds before I actually run into a problem because of it??? Chances are ill never find out
