  1. Lol, that looks awesome.. Good to know if I ever get in a fight with Aquaman, I'll be good to go
  2. Yeah all of my friends are big Glock cheerleaders and I finally gave in...
  3. Went to Bill Goodmans gun show in Nashville this weekend looking for a Glock 30sf. I brought along my XDM 45 to sell privately at the gun show in case I found the 30sf at a price I was willing to pay. So I come across a G30sf at Ken's booth, price on the box was $590 but the sticker on the gun said $550. I was comfortable paying $550, so I asked the gentleman at the booth if he would take $550, he looked and said yes, I asked again to make sure, again he said yes. So I found someone to buy my XDM, sold it and went back to Ken's booth to purchase the G30sf, again asking if $550 was the price, yes he said. So I do the paperwork & background, the lady said the gun is $590, I told her about what the guy said, she went and spoke with him and came back saying no the gun is $590. I told her I would not have sold my gun if I could not purchase the G30sf for $550, they would not budge, so I went to another dealer who had the same gun for $10 more and gave them my business.
  4. Went to the Bill Goodman gun show this weekend, found a new Glock 30sf and bought it. I have an XDM .45 compact but just wanted something new. Went to the range to test it out. The XDM is by far IMHO is much more comfortable to shoot, not that the Glock is bad, but hands down to the XDM in terms of being 'softer.' However the Glock was far more accurate and is now my new EDC.
  5. I just bought an XDM 45 compact and I love everything about it... I'm very new to conceal carry (less than a month) but with the 9 round mag it conceals very well for me in my N82 holster. Plus it's a great shooter, after searching, reading, watching hours of videos on youtube it came down between the XDM 45c & the Glock 30 SF, I got a chance to shoot both and the XDM felt better overall for me.
  6. I've tried almost every holster under the sun and my favorite is the one by N82 tactical... That with a Cobra belt from S.0.E gear.
  7. I put in for mine on 1/22/13 and got it around the first week of March.
  8. My girlfriend just called to let me know that my permit arrived today :)
  9. I applied for mine on 1/22 and still waiting...
  10. Been about 3 weeks for me too, just kinda curious so I called and she said it was in the process of having the background check done
  11. Is there a reason why the drivers license doesn't say carry permit on it, instead of having a separate piece of paper?
  12. So hello, I just recently (1/18) bought my first handgun and took my carry permit class. I've been thinking about doing it for over a year now, but finally decided to go ahead and just do it. And man did I pick a crazy time to do so!!! It was difficult to find the gun that I wanted, but found it at Outpost Armory. Now trying to buy up all the ammo that I can, that has been the most difficult part to this point. Anyways I have a XDM .40 3.8 and I love it!!!
