  1. C.C Deville is a masterful guitar player. He was classically trained and the chops in most of the Poison songs are definitely note worthy. Just as Geoff Tate of Queensryche was an Opera singer which shows his vocal ability. Now Sid Viscious on BASE was a completely different story.
  2. Because he is the mesiah. Don't forget - Bush hates Black people. Obama can't.
  3. I guess I would have to say that a friend enlightened me into the world of Metal truly with his Kramer guitar. He played Crazy Train on it and I was hooked on the hard guitars of Metal and Punk. Bubble gum rock don't do it for me.
  4. Let's send Bruce Willis and the crew from Armageddon down there. They could fix it.
  5. They did that before a couple of years ago. Hurricane Katrina and all. Not to mention back during the wars initial days.
  6. Until you stated that the haze was rising to the ceiling I was starting to think we were at the same Hall and Oates show but mine was at Mud Island - no ceiling. I started off with whatever my parents listened to. Started listening to "metal" with Survivor and "The Eye of the Tiger". Did a stint in the Punk world as well as Metal. Still like listening to Bad Brains, The Ramones, Sex Pistols, TSOL (even the "sell out metal album") Agnostic Front, Seven Seconds etc. Still love my Metal. Also really enjoy U2 everything from Boy to No Line on the Horizon. I am very ecletic.
  7. :tinfoil:Maybe this is the disaster that BHO is going to use to declare Martial Law in the US so he can just go in and take over the oil rigs.
  8. Perhaps because at one time they were basically the only game on town. Now people have more choices but they still are the largest dealer in town. They have better buying power. Heck I bought three guns from them. I just decided that I would never go back after the last time.
  9. Just an update and to get back on point - I spoke to Chance and the AR is in. M&P 15 Magpul with Dessert Tan furniture. Looks like I won't have a completely EBR. I am picking it up this evening.
  10. Remember it was a long time ago (1861 to be precise) when a war was fought over the states rights to govern themselves.
  11. I think AZ has a great start and if NM, TX, and CA would do the same a big part of the illegal problem would go away. We would then have to start North and East to totally clean it up.
  12. Just keep in mind that any store/restaurant that has these stickers does not want your business and do not shop there. Simple remedy. Order online from smaller companies. Personally I don't care what they put up there. Any signage indicates to me they do not want my business and I will accommodating them.
  13. While I think liberals have not helped the image of firearms in the general populous we cannot solely blame them. We have not done our due diligence of showing the shooting sports in a positive light. Frequently when media outlets go to an event where firearms are prevalent the biggest bumbling idiot is shown with his booger grabber on the bang switch talking in his deepest southern drawl. Also - let's face it. Gunny talking about how he loves the smell of Watermelon in the morning doesn't help much either. While we think it is funny and can appreciate his sense of humor the average citizen thinks it is a little "scary" for this type of behavior as the only time they see people with guns is in the news and on TV/Movies where death and carnage are usually the norm. Very infrequently do you see shows where the good guy simply has to pull out a gun and the bad guy walks away. Very infrequently in the news do you hear this either.
  14. This is what I would get if I needed it. It can be bolted to the wall studs to prevent anyone taking it easily.
  15. A simple - we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone should suffice. However there are places that are posted no trespassing and I cannot go in there without fear or repercussions. Posting a sign stating you don't want a person with a valid HCP in your business tells me you don't want my business at all. Post all you want. I will go elsewhere. I will agree that they are "discriminating" against HCP holders and as such the ACLU should step in but that is a dog for a different hunt.
  16. I care about all of them. If it weren't for them we wouldn't be the best country in the world. Yes the 2nd protects the first but that doesn't mean it is any more important. They are all equally important or else they wouldn't be in there.
  17. Chance - It's all good. I don't hold you or Classic Arms totally responsible. I did not do my due diligence. You are already taking a step to make it right and I am sure that the store will also. Thanks for all of the help. We need to talk to the owner about tagging. Not to mention if I go ahead and get the M&P (which I will likely do) then I will be able to get additional magazines. I knew that Classic Arms would make it right which is why I stated that -- Followed by: and finally Hope I didn't offend anyone or make anyone think that Classic Arms would not do the right thing. I had to determine what I wanted first before I contacted them. I did and it appears they are going to make it right.Good customer service in my opinion. Now - let's talk about when the new one will be in......
  18. Talked to Chance at Classic Arms - Thanks for the good service he is going to swap it out for an M&P when they come in. Great customer service there. Apparently he was aware that it was a "lego" but I wasn't and I should have asked. They are definitely making it right so thanks for the info and the heads up.
  19. Remember the old saying - A person who represents himself in a matter of law has a fool for a client.
  20. That's why I said you need to contact a lawyer - I do not know but if all charges were dropped there should be no reason for you not to get your permit back.
  21. Wow - you certainly won't get any dates with those glasses (I remember my pair fortunately there are no pictures with them). Thanks for the service and have a great time. Only trust the officers that will get down shoulder to shoulder with you in the trenches. Congrats on Marksman.
  22. I am not a lawyer - but if the charges were dropped and the protection order was dropped it is likely that you should be able to get your permit back. You will need to go back to court so you will need a lawyer. There are several on our forum. Contact them.
  23. I am currently trying to get more information from them. I don't care for G&A. I have never had good service from them. I will keep you posted.
  24. Todd - Didn't take it as being a smart @ at all. It looks clean. Cannot see any obvious defects etc. Yes - it was represented as a RRA rifle however there was no model number on it on the slip such as the MP15 that my SIL looked at and purchased. While I am not exactly thrilled at the prospect that I was sold an RRA that may or may not be built with all RRA parts, I am still determining the course of action. Unfortunately getting out and shooting it is not in the calendar any time soon.
  25. I agree - if you own firearms you owe it to yourself and society to have them in a safe. How likely is it that the police are going to show up AS SOON AS the alarm goes off? How long do you think it will be before a robber is able to find one of your firearms while you are not home. If you add a safe in the mix they at least will take time to either open it or remove it and maybe the police will make it there by then to stop them. Or they will figure it is not worth it to grab the safe and go for all of the electronics which I don't want them to have but would feel more comfortable knowing that Joe Badguy only got away with a TV as opposed to getting any of my firearms and using them on someone else.
