Going to the gun show tomorrow and looking at picking up a new side arm. Hopefully under $450. What are some pistols that you guys recommend? I know glocks are good, and I wouldnt mind a taurus model 92. May even go after a ppk, but I need to recommendations for a 9mm.

Not even close. Russian surplus is easier to find due to them not being stingy assholes when it comes to ammo. Hell, there's more ak's out there than people in all of north america. 

Got a confirmation from PSA today, they said I should have my complete upper by the 20th, should I expect this, or just ignore it?

I also noticed the lower recoil, then again, the round is about 200 feet per second slower, but over all a really pleasent rifle to fire.

Not all of it is surplus. I came across 100 rounds of fragmentation and I wish I did fire 60 of them. I'm looking at buying ammo and not rifles. Still trying to figure out if I should buy some ap 5.56 or just a ton of normal brass rounds.

I have over 1200 rounds of ammo for it, but all the nice indoor ranges said no to my russian surplus ammo. And I dont function too well in the cold. But at least I got my DPMS today.... But Im almost out of 5.56 and .223

Turns out it was a loose gas key. He also replaced one of the springs for something just to be safe.   Edit: On the first inspection it seemed fine. It was just loose in such a way, that it was hard to see at first.

And to import or export anything from Brasil takes far too long. And some of the tariff prices are high most of the time.

I seen this before and they want to start charging us for what they want and cutting us off on what we want. Watching too many internet shows or movies? We are going to slow you down. Want faster internet? Pay more, but we have the right to screw you out of your paying service on a whim.

Thanks guys. Ill just forget about it and be surprised when it arrives. It was just concerned when it went out of stock a about a day and a half later after I placed and payed for my order.

Anyone know the usual time it takes for orders from the palmetto state armory to get fulfilled? I ordered an upper from them and a few days later it went out of stock on their web site and I tried calling but it automatically takes me to a busy line. The only thing I have received so far is a confirmation for my payment. Any info will help out a ton. 

Yeah, nothing is perfect and I rather not divulge what I paYed for that one. Might make some jelous. But hey, if the upper works, I might just stick it on the dpms instead.

Yeah, now 2 ar 15's, 1 ak 74, 1 C93. Does this ever end? I feel like heroin might be cheaper.

Bought the complete PTAC upper. Will have pictures when it arrives. Until then, I shall swim in tears for more money spent. Then again, it was just a flat $289. As long as it doesnt explode, I will be happy.     Crunched all the numbers together. This AR once finished will set me back $460. Thats not all that bad for a AR 15, just need to find a rear sight and I am good.
