  1. Depends on what want out of it. If you want performance, building your own is cheaper. If you want something nice and simple, the above stores mentioned have killer deals on their newsletters.
  2. That rounds like a fantastic idea actually. Much cheaper too.
  3. Thats what I am debating. I might ask a few friends if they want to split the payment and we all get shoot it. But as a single purchase for a one time use, doesnt seem like a good idea.
  4. http://centuryarms.biz/products.asp?cat=121   Would an outdoor range let you use one? This seems like a load of fun.
  5. That is the most depressing thing I have seen ALL year long. Really, a real honest to god STG 44 and he gives it up for $200..... I want to go in a corner and sob now. Such a beautiful weapon, thats going to be turned into scrap. :squint:
  6. How would you rate the Tacops? I have never owned a sig before, so this is uncharted waters. I do hear nothing but praises from them as a manufacturer tho.
  7. Echo 1 also has made a mini gun. And I still have two of their rifles from a few years back. An echo 1 G3 with upgraded internals and a echo 1 M416.

Im not knocking on you, I really like the look of your set up. Its just I had a hard time fighting his point last night.

Showed your photos to a friend and he cried heresy. Then he made a valid point, why not just use a AR chambered in .308? Would have been cheaper.
  10. This is so tempting. I really dont need to own four 1911's, but then again, you never have enough 1911's.
  11. Yeah, you kind of sold me on the TWS. You sold me on the TWS. I wasnt too interested in the peep sight, but seeing all those rifles and how the scopes you mounted on them look.
  12. Will the TWS will work on a 74, and what about a .308 saiga?
  13. Nashville Airsolf has a all metal M60 for $400. I think thats the closest anyone will get to feeling like rambo.

    great day

Someone is opening his fences at night. So it does involve a fence. And he has a 3 year old, so I also have to find him and his wife a small safe.
  15. Now I am torn between the TWS and the midwest one.... They both look great and they are the least intrusive ones.   And you guys are awesome with recommendations.

I now know my next rifle. Thank you. It looks just as nice as I thought it would. Again, thank you.

Holy cow, if you do find one and it looks like what I am picturing what it looks like, then I found my next rifle.
  18. It reminds me of an audi, since they got the designer from audi for the last batch of cars.

Do you have a fixed stock laying around? I am trying to picture that rifle with an m16 style stock.
  20. You brought my hopes up and just as swiftly killed them with a single well placed blow.
  21. I know, they get the good cars while the US gets crap. There is not a single US made small sedan that is worth it. Dart? Crap, Cruize? Too much wasted potential. Forcus? The turbo one is far too expensive. I drove my friends kia soul and it handled quite well for a compact SUV ( I guess thats what it is). One would think with the bail out, the auto industry would get better. NOPE, just more expensive and we still do not have a good diesel sedan.
  22. I know huyndai makes sports cars and the genesis is actually pretty good, but I wonder what the asking price will be if they make a sports car. The new cadenza looks pretty good for a sedan, but it seems like they are doing a huge price hike on it. As for trucks, I miss my old silverado with the 4.3 V6. Nothing that stout motor couldnt handle. Even towed my grandmothers cadillac with it. But it seems like all the sports cars that are reasonably priced is a V6 mustang and a V6 camero, which both look blah.

How hard was the chassis swap? It looks good tho.
  24. I have never been fond of their cars even after their huge turn around in style and reliability, but they are thinking about moving into the sports car market and I do not know how to describe this thing.   http://editorial.autos.msn.com/media/video/default.aspx?videoid=3d1a76e2-f2c8-427a-86c2-8e7c0b3fc63c&icid=autos_5246   Seems like a cross between a Audi R8 and the rear of a charger. What we need is some of the of HOLDEN's here in the states. Why does australia get to have this great looking car to themselves?   http://www.holden.com.au/latestoffers/ute/vf-ute-ss   It also comes in a V8 with a six speed manual. If the link asks for a postcode, just enter 2148
  25. The real question is which one is the best in space? Since we still dont have a good laser weapon system.
