Not that I have the balance necessay to ride one these days, but do have a question. You say it was bought for a woman. Could it be a gentleman's bike?

It's unisex. The previous guy bought it for his wife, thus the small frame.

dang, I wish this were a larger frame size I've been looking for an ebike

It is a small frame but I'm 6' and it rides just fine. Actually makes it quite maneuverable.

When we were building our house back in 2016 (West TN) this was laying in my driveway as I was walking back.  I assume this is an Alligator snapping turtle???

Looks like a common snapper. The alligator has points on it's shell. Looks like armor plating

  3. Listing this for my son. We got this here on TGO and my son has been riding for a year now, but he's wanting something a little different. It is a great , fuel efficient, fun bike, that is easy to ride. I'm a bigger guy that rides a 1900cc Yamaha Stratoliner bagger daily and this S40 is an easy and fun ride. We rode 1k miles on our last trip covering everything from winding mountain roads to interstate and the S40 had no problems keeping up. In fact he outmaneuvered me on the switchbacks pretty easily. 6800 miles  sold.

    What he's added:

    - Voodoo Café Turnout muffler 19.75": It's LOUD! in a good way (the color variation is where me melted his jogger pants on the muffler.)

    - DEI Titanium Exhaust Wrap

    - Kuryakyn Heavy Duty mirrors

    - DC Motive Speedo/Tach/Trip (GPS Speedo, Tach not connected) mainly for the trip meter to manage fuel levels

    - new Raptor Fuel Petcock

    - Shorai Lithium Battery

    - (new) Mikuni VM36 Carb

    - Sigma Jet Kit

    - Avon Air-90 Grips

    - K&N Air Filter

    - all LED lights (easily removable)

    - Slipstream Spitfire QD windshield and hardware included (not installed)

    - Willie & Max throwover saddlebags

    - under carriage accent LED lights with remote

    - USB quick charger

    - QD seat retaining pins (best mod ever for theses!)

    Interesting.

I have 38K posts at the AKFiles, if you add back in all the deleted threads/posts.....well over 50K.

Guess that makes me a Super Citizen Poster over there but not here.

Seller sets the conditions for the F2F, I'd meet in the local PD parking lot if necessary.

There are plenty of guns to go round and I've bought my share.......ain't begging anyone here for anything.

I've also sold my share....traded my share, and I couldn't give a rat's --- who bought it as long as they were legal.

You aren't inspiring confidence in your club.....but you're absolutely correct, it's yours.

How the heck is anyone supposed to know your post count on AKfiles and reputation to make transactions on TGO.

This a regional/state forum. Nothing like a big city guy coming to a small town to declare his importance. Tends to rub the small town guys the wrong way no matter how big the city was. You gotta earn your reputation where you're at not, where your from.

He would have had his money in two days.

Since you are in Nashville, you cannot appreciate that 95% of offerings are in western TN, very little is offered in E TN.

And you guys refuse to ship.

How about spreading the love a little?

Instant gratification is not a positive character attribute.

I can appreciate it. Tennessee is a very long state. Happens to all of us. True, some more than others but I've had this happen to me quite a bit. I just understand, if things are in the Memphis area, Chattanooga, or Knoxville areas I'll probably miss out. I can offer but I understand the reality.

And rarely, if ever will I ship. Just not worth the hassle and risk most if the time.

I used the report on today's sale.

    Here's another-

Yeah, an "I'll take it" with a delay condition is not an I'll take it.

It's "I'll take it" and most convenient that gets it. A weeks delay is a sellers discretion to agree to or not. The seller has the right to accept what is most convenient for him. An "I'll take it" does not give the buyer the ability to dictate the terms after the fact.

  7. In 9mm I really like Federal HST 115 +p. Recently, I've been liking the Barnes Tac-XPD 115g +P.

When I can't find those, I've used Hornady Critical Defense and some Federal 9BPLE I've had in quantity for some time.

Good research out there that shows people who receive therapy and go on meds get better 50% faster.

Research done by the same people who did the jab research. 😉 All in good fun. Medication should be a necessary second only option. IMO.

Stats show clearly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is the only solution to the positive across the board by a wide margin.  Not discounting medications, but psychological and behavioral are different applications. One is medicinally approached and the other is cognitively approached. There is a direct correlation between moving our culture from a behavioral approach to medicinal approach over the last 30-40 years. It has not been good. The medicinal approach failed miserably and is usually viable only because CBT is added in. It's not all one or the other, but it is definitely one way before the other. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3584580/

But what about all the happy pills everyone I work with are on?

Treats symptoms and have negative mental side effects that are more often than not worse than the symptom. In no way do they treat casualty or give usable coping skills. Our society has absolutely lost all ability to cope with difficulty/conflict (normal life) and it often festers into what we are seeing. Everyone wants a pill fix and not a work/effort/overcome solution. While "get over it" is extreme, it is far closer to a solution than medication.

Pills only help natural chemical imbalances. Very few cases are natural chemical imbalance. Most are cognitive behavioral imbalances.
