  1. Sounds like they are to good to be true.Thought they would be a faster way to clean primer pockets, and clean really tarnished brass.

    Thanks Jeff

Look at stainless steel media and tumbler . Will clean pockets. SS wont wear out. Not cheap to get started but nothing worth having is. Yes you have to dry it after you use SS but spread it out and let it dry while you do something else.

  2. Thank you 1gewehr and Dmark for the info.

Thats the info I was trying to find and you guys helped save me some cash.

The shop bought the gun from a individual and he himself opened the crate this and other guns was in.

    They are asking 2500$.

    Thanks!!!

  3. I am just going on what this shop is saying.

Ill try and go by and take some images today.

I understand the blue books prices. But I wanted it as a guide only.

I have looked on the net and wasnt able to find much info to tell me what to look for. other than a OG marking?

I know things like this sound to good to be true and I am sure it is But I thought Id check it out seeing it is local.

  4. I looked at a NEW

US Springfield 1903 Mark1 Rifle today.

This gun was un issued and has never been fired.

I hate to ask but what it the value of one like this?

I may not buy it and if someone here is real interested please PM me and I will get you in touch with the guys who have it.

  5. I have my Rock River Arms in the 308 cal ready and have been warming the barrel.

    http://www.rockriverarms.com/index.c...fb400e3a36253a

    It is a 20 inch

Yes at just over 10 pounds it is a bit heavy but it is a 308.

They claim 1 MOA at 100yds and YES it will do that and better. Not bad for a danged old semi.

I did shoot from the bench and bags and the 2 stage trigger in it is OK. Im sure Ill upgrade that soon.

I love the cheek weld I can achieve with this stock from Rock River.

I love the half quad free float fore-end. Im one who likes the smooth part where I hold rather than all that extra rail.

Im not big on the rubber Hogue grip. Something Ill change soon also.

And for those who never seen a 308 AR bolt along side a 223/5.56 bolt I made and image to compare the 2.

Oh the scope is a Cabela's Alaskan Guide® Premium Riflescope: 4-12x50. I got a super deal from a forum member here on a almost new one.

Overall I am happy with this gun and hope to get some good range time soon.

I will do a side by side with my M1A soon.

  6. David,

Down at the bottom where it shows

    users are online

Can you change the setting to list them in alphabetical order?

Not a real big deal But some may use it to see if someone is online and would be easier to scan if they are alphabetical.

    Thanks
