  1. Maybe it's me. But I don't understand our Dept. of Safety. We can renew our drivers license online, but not our HCP. Does not make since to me. But any thing that involves doing something easy is not how are goverment works. I have renewed my drivers license online several times. Better than going and waiting all day at the drivers license center. gearyr

  2. I hate this too. GGC range to close starting June 15 thur Dec. 2011. I have been a member since the early 90's. I hate going out there on the weekends. To many members there. I have to wait to shoot. Some Saturdays that I have tried to shoot. I gave up and went back home because all of the shooting lanes were full. I really like going out there during the week. Now that is over for 6 months. Thanks TVA. Do we get a refund on the range being closed for so long? Proably not. gearyr

  3. I have 3 SKS rifles. 2 Chinese and a Yugo. The first China SKS I bought when the Clinton so called assualt ban was on. Paid $143.00 for it. Second China SKS at a gun show in Nashville, TN. It was $90.00+tax. This one I got for my son. It has a beautiful colored stock. The Yugo I bought when I had a C&R lic. Paid $99.00 from Aim. I really like this one. Bayonet and granade launcer. I think it is good as the Russian SKS. I would like to get a Russian SKS, but the price of them now is way to high. I rember when you could get a Russian SKS for $99.00. Messed up on that deal. gearyr

  4. I am waiting on a SR45c. That is what I want. Just can't get a .45 ACP out of my mind. I have a Ruger P90TH. Great gun. But I want a compact in .45ACP. Maybe I will get a Taurus 24/7 compact in .45ACP. gearyr

  5. Try this link to Cabela's. This is their brand. It is the same as my Investarms Hawken. But they want $499.99 for it. That is way to much for a side lock. Hope this helps. gearyr

  6. I have been trying to post a picture of mine on here. I am not having any luck. I really don't know what it is worth. But most side lock muzzel loaders aren't bringing a lot of money any more. Since the inline's have took over. You might try Gun Broker.com and see if any one has one on there for sale. Sorry, gearyrHawken.jpg

  7. Sounds like a Investarms Hawken muzzle loader. I have one I bought new back in the late 80's. I paid $150.00 back then. I bought at Poindexters Bait Shop In Gallatin, TN. I have a owners manual. If you need a copy of it, I can e mail you a copy. Mine has a rubber recoil pad on it, 1 in 48 inch twist barrel. It shoots good. Look on Cabela's web site. Cabela's salles their brand. But it is a Investarms . gearyr

  8. I have a P90TH I bought new at one of the gun shows at the fairgrounds back Dec. 2001. It is a great .45 ACP. I bought my second Ruger in 2005. A P89. I will keep both of them. No complaints about either one of them. But I want to but a smaller handgun to carry. Been thinking about a Ruger SR9c. But Ruger had so much trouble with the SR9 when it first came out. Don't know what I will buy. gearyr

  9. NO D*MN CREDIT CARDS EVER AGAIN!. Learned my lesson on credit cards. I will never have a credit card again. Trying to get out of debt. 4 months left on the house. Setp. is the last house payment. Watch out. I will be be building a AR. I have a lower, but that is all. Going to order a kit that has ever thing, except the lower. Can't wait. I have a buddy that is going to put the lower parts kit in for me. But I will be watching him. So when I get my second lower, I will do it myself. gearyr

I bought this one several years ago when I had a C&R license. Had it drilled and tapped, bolt reforged swept back to clear for the scope. Local gun smith in Gallatin, TN did the work. It also has a Redfield 3x9x40 scope, Leupold one piece scope mount, and a Timney trigger. gearyr.
