  6. Stage 5 had to be tossed due to the inconsistency between shooters when the system was broken on Saturday. Less than half shot the system correctly on both days. Hope everyone had a great time regardless and the scores were posted. Thank you to all of the First Responders and guests in attendance. Thank you to Jason at Innovative Targets who sponsored the stage and worked tirelessly to get it back up late Saturday for the Sunday match. True dedication and we look forward to partnering with him soon for upcoming matches.
  7. It is that time again......our annual Red, White and Blue steel match. We will have a 5 stage falling steel match and a debut of Innovative Targets on our range. They are sponsoring a stage with a one of a kind design target system. This match is free to all first responders(LEO, Military - past and current, Firefighters, doctors and paramedics). Here is the initial stages for the Red, White, Blue match this weekend(Saturday and Sunday). I will probably make changes while setting up. http://www.mctsclub.com/~mctscl5/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/Memorial-Red-White-Blue-Steel-Match-2016.pdf
  8. See you tomorrow. Thank you for the help tonight.

  12. That was my only post outside of match announcements in almost a year. I have gotten considerably better just focused on all shooting disciplines. Nothing but true words spoken by one of the best shooters in the state regardless of the discipline.

  15. I already submitted it to the lawyers as all of the TN clubs and other states allow non members to shoot their local events per their club bylaws. My one year suspension is almost up without notification it was being switched to perm. I guess this saves another suspension in the future finding out IDPA secrets. Not all non members challenge a hypocritical organization so I guess they are not being singled out. 1. I shouldn't have brought 1800.00 to the Nationals in 2014 to challenge every stage(previous year's had some questionable stages) and competitors. I challenged 3 shooters for wearing knee braces at that event. It was good enough for the sanctioned event that year that Robert Ray attended and consulted with in TN but not for Nationals? 2. I shouldn't have brought up that a "founder" of IDPA, Bill Wilson cheated at the AR State State match in 2015 and his wife covered it up that afternoon. He was not classified for the match via website as his founding company's rulebook states. Reminds me of GADPA getting in trouble but not the original IDPA club and its founder. I have the screen prints. 3. Challenged Robert at the AR State 2015 match for allowing a shooter on his stage a reshoot because he didn't have the mags loaded properly thus going from 25 second and some change stage with 13PD and HTN to 12 seconds and some change with 2PD. Caused the shooter to move 2nd place in that division. Dustin Pluth had the same issue at Nationals in 2014 and didn't get a reshoot. I guess being friends with the home crowd earns some leeway. 4. Challenged a "visual indicator of cover" at the MS State match in 2015(which will be included into the new rulebook in 2017) which was described as a fault line by the SO. Plus I drank way too much free beer in the hot MS sun provided by an IDPA paid employee after the match. I said a few cuss words during after the match.
  16. Moving targets and steel on every stage. Awesome, fun technical match today. Thank you for the challenging stages.
  17. Checked the radar and it will be great, beautiful weather tomorrow for shooting.
  18. Steel Challenge will be happening in the afternoon if there is enough participants.

  20. We are pleased to announce that on May 21st / 22nd, Music City Tactical Shooters will host the Music City Shootout VI. The GSSF match is a great match for beginners and experienced shooters. Please don't forget about those wanting to win weapons, money and prizes at random(not just based on performance). Please visit www.gssfonline.com for more information and registration. Onsite registration will start each day at 9am-3pm on Saturday and 9am-2pm on Sunday. People can come and go as they please(shotgun start). Last year match there was little or no wait due to efficiency of the match workers and number of total stages to accommodate shooters expected. This is a great match for all shooters and all abilities. There is no drawing--all starts are from low ready and no reloading on the clock. You will need your Glock Box or gun rug to transport your gun between stages. Or use your holster with gun at slide lock. The course of fire are "Glock the Plates", "Glock'M" and "Five to Glock". We will have multiple setups for efficiency. Registration is online or on the day of the match at the range. Hope to see you there!
