    HD Gun Maintenance?

So keeping high cap mags loaded really won't weaken them unless your shooting/reloading them alot?
  4. I was talking about the auto industry which also contributes to global warming. Salt water works just fine actually No I do not, just hear say. Do you have a better explanation? I mean do you think that Ford spends millions of dollars in research and developement to increase 10 horsepower and 1 more MPG in the new 2009 model cars? (just hypothetical) Or are the car companies just releasing something "alittle better" then before because its feeding us..No I am not some conspiracy theorist, just my take on the big picture. .... I understand it has flaws, just my 2 cents...
  5. Howdy, thought I'd introduce myself. I am a gun loving, anti-socialist, who believes this country needs to stand on the beliefs it was founded on. Look forward to talking to everyone!
  6. you got to realize that its all about the big oil companies.. if they don't make their money, they aren't happy. We could have 100% gas-free cars. Electric or Hydrogen. Hydrogen is EASY to make, and stable generator are available. The guy who tried to get his generator patented was killed… Its like computers. Do you REALLY think that each month, Intel engineers walk into the bosses office and say "Boss!!! Major break through, we got a NEW CPU that is 200 mhz faster!" Noooo... they build these things, tone them down to only run at a certain speed. Then they make a warehouse full of them, then the supply starts to go down they release the same CPU, just clocked alittle faster. And the same thing goes for cars, we COULD have cars getting 70-100 MPG but then the gas companies would be loosing to much money. There was a group of engineers that got together and redesigned a Toyota car (.. which I believe are the people who have the car in the link below..). They are getting 150 MPG in a car thats only suppose to get 60-75 MPG. It just boils down to the car companies being controlled or in business with the gas companies. http://www.electric-car-on.net/2008/03/25/150-mpg-toyota-prius-with-aftermarket-lithium-ion-battery-pack/
  7. when i hear the word socialism, all I can think about is communism.... from my view they don't seem that far apart.
  8. i agree some what, there are uninformed people everywhere you go. i've seen people do reports in NYC, walking down the street and asking random people "Whats the closed planet to Earth", "Whats our current president", just really simple easy questions that every one should know, but they didn't have a clue. Sadly I think most of these people voted for Obama. The uninformed people who voted for McCain did it because they are die hard republicans. just my 2cents
  9. while i think this is a bunch of BS, honestly it won't affect me. criminals, maybe. but yes reloading would be the way around it. however if this bill was passed, anyone caught with reloads or "untraceable rounds" would be arrested.
  10. i predict worthless.. sadly the USA as a country is becoming completely government dependant, which from my view isn't good. i see everything spiraling downward.
  11. Thanks for the replies!
  12. I would google "pistol purse", I came across: http://glockstore.com/pgroup_descrip/10_Concealment+Purses/7302_Wisteria+Purse/?mode=imageℑ=272
  13. I was just wondering how much would it cost to build a decent AR15? Thanks!
  14. oh, thanks tried that but it didn't work, odd
  15. this is an interesting part of a Howard Stern show. *profanity warning* (not sure how to embed the video to the forum) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b5p3OB6roAg By the way Nate, if you look at the website (howobamagotelected.com/ ) it shows the poll results
  16. i'd recommend the keltec 380, its not the best gun but its about the size of a wallet.
  17. while carrying open is an option, its not recommended. for your own safety its best to carry concealed. this way someone can't attempt to take your weapon, and also police won't feel the need to "hassle" (i mean that in the nicest way ) you when they see you carrying open.
  18. wow.. that is really sad.. i watched that whole video and knew each of the answers without even having to think hard about any of them... people need to wake up and stop being sheep.
  19. lol thats amazing.. i couldn't keep my mouth shut on that one there are other issues I disagree with too tho, pulling out of Iraq in 12months (i believe thats what he said anyway) isn't going to do anything for us or them. i think we need to finish the job we started and then start pulling out.
  20. thanks for the sites, Aim looks like the cheapest so I think I'll get it from them
  21. do you know any sources for this? I am curious... The sad thing is, other countries are sitting back and laughing at us...
  22. i could care less about skin color, sadly there seems to be an issue with it still when people say "you didn't vote for him your a racist"... noo I didn't vote for him because I don't agree with his policies, what he stands for, what he wants to do to this nation.. #1 - gun control, its only hurting the people who LEGALLY own guns, all the criminals and gun runners are still going to be doing their business. We (as a country, or should I say the COURT system) can't even uphold the laws that are already in place when we are letting people off the hook that have been arrested for illegal guns. #2 - spreading the wealth? I am sorry... I work, I eat, its my money. I don't make any where close to $200k a year but the people who actually spent the time, years of college (for most) to obtain higher paying jobs are now going to be taxed higher because of it? I completely disagree with this. No one who DOESN'T work DESERVES money, or "luxeries" of being in America... just my 2cents
  23. ouch, yah its gone up alot since then I guess.. Cheapest I can find it is 700 rds for $150, but thats ordering it out of a place in Johnson City, so tax + SH your looking at close to $200.. site incase anyone is interested: http://www.wideners.com/
  24. Anyone know where to get some cheap 7.62 ammo in the Knoxville area?
