  1. I ordered some small parts from Midway on Dec. 17,2012. They shipped them on Dec. 20, 2012 using USPS Parcel. It's now Jan 6, 2013 and I still have not received the parts. I called Midway and they said the package can't be tracked since it was sent by USPS parcel. I sent email to USPS and Midway on Jan 3, 2013 but haven't heard anything back yet. I searched but can't find the parts in stock anywhere now.
  2. On the new site I can read the posts in the classified section without logging in, on the old site I can't. The new site doesn't show the location of the seller under the avatar.
  3. I work in down town Nashville near the MTA bus station. I park my car about 3/4 of a mile away from the building I work in. Just getting to my car could be a problem. I live in south Nashville near Nipper's Corner.
  4. Does anybody know if guns are not allowed at the Good Guys Car Show at LP Field ?

    Kevlar Depends

Diamond Gusset's Defender jeans have Kevlar in the rear pocket area, might help, but I don't think it's woven tight enough to be bullet repellent.
  6. Thought about getting the cylinders bored out, even bought an extra set of 883 cylinders off ebay, but I think I will get a set of iron lined aluminum cylinders. The heads are for a 1200. I got the SE 575 cams. Yes I have read about the vibration
  7. Let us know how this is going. I have a 2001 883 that I have been thinking about converting. I have some of the parts, 2004 heads, SE cams, S&S rocker arms and Mikuni carb.
  8. Nashville Walmart at Old Hickory and Nolensville Rd had Remington UMC 250 Mega Packs of 9mm, 40 and 45's. Also some Federal 9mm and 40.
  9. I'm looking for a new home security system. I was told that the wireless systems have more false alarms and the batteries have to be replaced often. But if I install it myself, the wireless system would be easier to install. Anybody think one type system is much better or worse than the other ? Anybody know a good place to buy all the parts I would need ? Thanks.
  10. I just received a Polish underfolder kit for my first AK build. All the finish is worn off the bolt except in the low places. The bolt is not smooth and shiny. The barrel doesn't look new, but I can still see the grooves in it. I don't won't to build this if it is not going to last long or is unreliable. How can I tell if the barrel, bolt or bolt carrier need replacing before I start assembling this ? Thanks
  11. I need some advice on what to do next. I bid on an ak type kit on Gun Broker. I won the item, sent a money order via certified mail to a woman in Ft. Worth TX. She got the mo on Dec 29, 2008, I have not received the kit as of Feb 1, 2009. I got an email on Jan 2, 2009 saying the kit would be shipped on Jan 5. After I sent several emails and left phone messages, I got another email on Jan 27 saying the package had been shipped but it was returned. I checked my address on Gun Broker, it is correct. I emailed her my address again and asked for a tracking number, so far no response and no package. Her account has been closed on Gun Broker. What should I do next ? Thanks for any advice.
