  1. People everywhere. High prices everywhere. Sort of what I thought it would be. Mostly people trying to walk around and sell shotguns and deer rifles.
  2. Meadowview Jan31 and Feb1. Gray fairgrounds feb 14-15
  3. As long as you have a TN DL, you can take the class and apply for your HCP.
  4. I dont know if you can say good deal and ammo in the same sentence anymore. I got some from www.grafs.com not too long ago. their prices include shipping. if you buy more the $150, you get a discount. If you have a C&R, you can get setup with dealer pricing. I was pleasantly surprised by their dealer pricing. I waited a day and missed out on some GGG Lith that they had.
  5. 1. You didn't state a price or range. I agree with Traumaslave. You dont have to pay for a name to get a great rifle. Savage IMO is best bang for the buck right out of the box, especially with the accutrigger. The remington 700 is awesome. I love a Ruger m77 with a tang safety. My favorite .06 of all times. Smoothest action and accurate. Beware of some of the combo guns being sold for under $400 at places like Dick's and Wally world. Some feature plastic trigger parts. It all goes back to #1.
  6. The SP101 is an awesome pistol. Built like a tank. I carried one for a couple years and then switched. Hammerless 2 or 2 1/2" barrelled version. As previously stated it is accurate. Surprisingly so. The recoil is not that bad. If you are coming from shooting 9mm autos, then it may take you some getting used to. Likes: good gun, smooth stock trigger, built very well, accurate. dislikes: added weight, stock grip sucks IMO I was torn between the sp101 and a smith 642. Best friend desided to part with an sp101 at a good price so I could not pass it up. I do still want to buy the smith. I think the lighter weight of the gun and ammo would be the biggest plus. You cannot pocket carry the sp101 (at least i couldnt). I 95% carry IWB and got tired of the cylinder against my side, wanted a slimmer carry piece, so I went back to an Auto. The grip of the sp101 disappears against your size, but you do get quite a buldge from it because of the cylinder. I seem to change carry weapons every couple of years. Buy both, and decide for yourself.
  7. Send a copy to Grafs as well (www.grafs.com). They will set you up with a dealer login and you can save on ammo. Between them, midwayusa, and aimsurplus, it pays for itself in savings.
