I got a long list of companies off AR15.com, and ordered a bound book from fflboundbook.com. So now just got to wait for the companies to get the C&R.

Got my C&R today, finally. Now to get to faxing and mailing and emailing ......

Is there a way to get an email notification when a certain member posts? Like a notify of new posts feature?

I would go to the Pope show, but it could be a toss up, a lot of the same guys attend both shows. I guess you could go to one on Sat and one on Sun.

I had been promising my wife I would quit when I had a reason, health and money were not good enough. She kept asking when and I told her I didn't have a good enough reason. Then Feburary 12th she sent me a pic on my phone and gave me all the reason I needed, and he will be here September 14th (give or take a day). So that makes almost 4 months for me. Oh, and I went cold turkey, too.

So the wifey calls and tells me she has something for me. Hmmmm, what could it be? New gun, nah she wouldn't even attempt it, kinda like I wouldn't try to buy her shoes. So what ? Well I just got a year's membership to Guns 'N' Leather's range. That means anytime I want to I can go shoot, well as long as I have ammo. The best part, she got it for less than half of the normal price, and helped out a good cause while at it. There was a silent auction to benefit cystic fibrosis and Dennis put up the membership for one of the items and my wife won it. So I know what I am doing on my day off this week.

They are definitely worth the effort to get. I love mine.

My carry changes with the seasons. Winter and fall Glock 19, spring and summer Kahr PM9, and the breath taking skin blistering 100+ degree days get the KT P3AT ( and what I carry when I can't carry). These are occasionally mixed with H&K P7M8 and an M&P 9c. And rarely a S&W 642, when I am feeling nostalgic.

I am waiting for the 45 compact version and the 9L to come out.

Yeah, I know it was way short notice, I got them from a vendor for an employee here, and he wound up getting some on his own. They were here yesterday, but I was off and didn't come in till this afternoon.

Apparently I am not the only one that didn't want to go. I couldn't give them away to anyone. Oh well, didn't lose anything.

I am giving it till 4:15 then I will see if I can give them away locally.

By the way, race starts at 6:30.
