  1. I dunno. The one I wanted is not quite as ugly.
  2. I just want a radioactive Wildebeest.
  3. By the way, I never did know who Gecko45 was. Heard of him of course on here, but never did know.
  4. WOW! Pretty good. That took some thought. Or...................to have that level of knowledge..........just maybe you're in cahoots with Gecko45. Hmmmmm. Maybe we should keep our eye on you. :stare:
  5. Hmmmmmmmm :shhh:
  6. Hadn't thought of that either. Very possible. Just like a thread's worthless without pictures, that phone call was too.
  7. I'm in. I'll bring a trailer so's we can pack a big load of em. But, whilst the breeding them in a hot, arid environment is a good idea, let's not forget that we need to start many more pig farms right here in TN.
  8. I don't know if I could think of much worse than a radioactive wild boar! Cept fer maybe a radioactive cape buffalo.
  9. One of my favorite movies. "What'd he say?" "He said the sheriff is near!"
  10. Well, that's not what he described. He was talking about a regular car - a sedan. BUT ^^^^^^^^^^^^I want one of those! Why don't you get me a good deal on one, monkeylizard. Ya know, like FREE! That'd make a dang good portable camp and deer blind.
  11. A friend of mine just called me and told me that he was traveling on Highway 100 today, between 96 and Bell Meade, when he spotted a different looking car. He said it had a light bar on top, the car itself (a sedan) was solid dark brown with no stripes. He was passing by as it was about to pull out from somewhere, so he didn't get as good a look at it as he wanted, but said that there was black lettering on the side, something like "Tennessee State" and then the word "Combat." He said there was another word there in the mix, but he couldn't make it out on the way by.    I asked him if it had something to do with combat vets or something, but he said it didn't say anything about vets.   Anyone seen anything like this or familiar with it? I couldn't find anything, but I warned him ahead of time that my Google-Fu is not strong.
  12. Thanks for that. All the sheaths I've made so far were made from the saddle leather I got at Pecham's, and it was already dyed. At that time I didn't know they could cut the leather down for you, so I worked with that thickness. Somehow made 'em look decent, but it was a bear to work with, and there AIN'T no wet-molding.
  13. Hadn't even thought about them. I didn't know they were still around. I guess I'll have to squirrel some pennies away and pay Tandy a visit. I do need to restock some thread and get a couple more tools.
  14. :bowrofl:  :bowrofl: :bowrofl:  :bowrofl:
  15. Very nice, very nice. I go to lusting over HiPowers when I found out (just the other day) that Nighthawk has a line of HiPowers.
  16. Now, uh, what were we talking about?
  17. I need to make about three knife sheaths here pretty soon. One for a Camillus/KaBar, and sheaths for two Esee 5's. I am completely out of leather. The last time I went shopping for some was at Pecham's in Elkton, KY and I left there angry because of 13 to 15 some-odd dollars a square foot prices. But that saddle leather is just a little too thick anyway for me. I really need to find some leather soon. Two of these knives are mine, but one of the Esees belongs to a friend of mine and I really need to get a move on. Where does everyone find their leather at, hopefully at decent prices?   Also while I'm at it, what thickness would you recommend for sheaths and holsters?
  18. Geez! To me, that second knife with it's blade profile just screams perfection. As for both of them, well done sir!
  19. Wow, that axe cover is nice, but that strike guard is very, very well done.
  20. We're trying. I think I'll just stay out of touch. I like my blissful existence.
  21. Well, they say you're only as old as you feel, so I think I'm about 110.
  22. Am I too old to enjoy that kind of movie? :)
  23. No, I'm afraid I didn't see that movie.
