So, I am traveling west on 385, also known as the Nonconnah speedway going the speed limit. OK, I know your thinking, yea right, then why did you get pulled over. Hear me out. As I past Forest Hill Irene interchange, I noticed a police car sitting on the on ramp. A moment later a silver car with a black top blows by me in the slow lane. I guessed him to be going about 80. Those who know me know that I think there should be no speed limit, but that is another story. Anyway, the police car gets up on the highway and he is rolling fast, I am still in the left lane, pissing peple off going the speed limit when the cop rolls up next to me. He slows and gets in behind me and sets of the the lights. I get in the slow lane, slow down and get off on Winchester and pull over in the Target parking lot. Here is how the conversation goes:
P: May I see your drivers license?
Me: It's in my back pocket, I'll get it.
P: Why didn't you pull over the moment I lit you up back there.
Me: I felt it would be safer if we got off the highway
P: You know I clocked you going 86 in a 65
Me: I'm sorry, that wasn't me. The guy you wanted had different tail lights and a black top.
P: Crap, your right, have a good day Sean
I was out of there in less than 5 minutes and the real speeder got away.
