  1. 5/8x24 threads, .30 cal bore. Acts as a muzzle break, or you can thread the optional blast can on and it directs the blast forward. I used it on a 300 blackout, blast can certainly makes a difference when shooting indoors. Blast can threads are 13/16-16, which match up to various oil filter sizes, if one were interested in such a thing. I'm not advocating for anything nefarious, I legitimately used to thread on an oil filter so I could clean my guns in the house, but now I have a nice work bench in the garage, so no need for that.

  2. Ok. So, I had a full sleeve of primers in my hunting bag. I thought I had the bag cleaned out all the way, so I tossed it in the washing machine. Well, the primers went everywhere and got soaked. I mean full on wash, soap and all. I managed to collect all of the primers and I'm hoping they can be dried out and still shot. Normally, I'd use them for range ammo or something, the hang up is that these are my only large rifle magnum primers, and I need to develop a hunting load and load up some rounds to hunt with. And, this being 2022 and all, I can't exactly run to the store and buy a sleeve of primers, much less large rifle magnum primers. Anyone have experience drying out wet primers?

  3. I'm out in the Dickson area, but willing to travel an hour or so. I plan on going to the Cheatham WMA to run some rounds over the chrono and sight in some rifles. That range is not my favorite. I used to love Montgomery County Shooting Complex, but they appear to still be "down" for renovation. I'm on the waiting list for Strategic Edge. Is there anywhere else in the Mid-TN area? For the time being, 100 yard range is fine for sight in, but I would eventually like to stretch some of my rifles out.

  4. Perfect condition, I've literally only worn it once. I just don't carry OWB. Fits all the Glock large frames,: 20, 21, 29, 30, 30s (probably), and whatever the long slide variants are for the 10/45. I paid around $60 for it, and like I say, it is basically new. How about $40? OBO. Or I would trade for Small Rifle Primers, maybe subsonic 300 BLK ammo. Probably other stuff too, those are the only things I can think of.

  5. So, I am not trained as a medic (we don't have those in the Marines), but I've trained in Combat Lifesaver, so my IFAK is tailored to what I can use and will use.

    I keep:

2 tourniquets, a CAT and a SWAT tourniquet. Buy a real CAT, then get a knockoff from Amazon to practice with. And stage your tourniquet, don't leave it in the plastic

    Compressed or rolled gauze

    3x3 gauze squares

    Medical tape

    Israeli bandage

    Chest seals

    Medical shears

    Various sizes of bandaids

Various meds in single packs (Tylenol, aspirin, Benadryl, Imodium, etc.) I prefer the individual packs you can get from a gas station. I know they're more expensive, but I don't like the idea of tossing a few pills in a Ziploc. Even if you label them, too much risk for me.

I don't carry stuff like an NPA or a decompression needle. Too much risk there. You're protected under the Good Samaritan rule to assist someone externally, but once you start inserting things into people you open the door to litigation.

  6. Excellent Condition, bought new and put on a rifle that maybe has 50 rounds through it. Took it off to switch sights and never put it back on. Red dot and Green dot mode, comes with mount and covers. $120

  7. Slide Details:

Lone Wolf stainless slide with forward serrations. Glock factory slide internals, other than 6lb Wolff striker spring (factory 5.5lb spring included). Lone Wolf stainless .45 ACP barrel. Comes with 2 stainless guide rods/springs, one factory weight 17lb spring and one 24lb spring so you can easily switch between powder puff .45 ACP all the way up to hot .45 SUPER.

    Frame Details:

NEW (un-milled) PF45 Polymer 80 large frame (could be used for .45 or 10mm). Lone Wolf lower parts kit w/ 3.5lb connecter. Will include 1 Glock factory .45 ACP 13 round mag.

$600 cash, or will trade for a Glock 30, 30S, or 36, possibly a compact .45 of another manufacturer, but I generally favor Glocks. I love the 21 platform, and have shot this a bit (on a different frame), but I'm really looking for something smaller that I can carry.

  8. I drooled over a Benchmade Bugout for a long time, until I held one. Super thin and very light, supposed to be a great carry knife, but just didn't feel good in my hand. I ended up going with a Benchmade Mini-Presidio. Comes S30V steel is plenty sharp enough and has great edge retention for me, but I know that's not the new, hot steel anymore. With the carbon scales it comes in at just over 4 ounces. Carries great for me either inside my waist band or clipped in a back pocket. I've used it for everything from food prep to prying and batoning wood, neither of which should it (or any folder) be used for. For me it was the best overall compromise of size, sharpness/retention, and weight.

  9. Looking for a old cell phone, hopefully someone has one in a junk drawer. I have an iPhone now and after a recent update my phone now will not turn on, so I'm effectively out of contact if I'm not with my wife or sitting at my desk at work. Buying another $1,000 phone isn't in the cards right now. I don't necessarily need another smart phone, I'd settle for a old flip phone, I just need some way to stay in contact. I'm in the Murfreesboro area right now, but will be in Nashville on Wednesday and Dickson on Thursday.
