  1. Hi y'all,

Looking for an M1 garand. We all have moms, hopefully all of us love them. Mine happens to have a love for history, America, and guns, so I want to get her something that will make her smile this Christmas.

CMP only has the special field or special rack for sale but I'm hoping to find one that's still got an authentic, non-new stock for the authentic feel.

Let me know if you're selling! Thanks

  2. Looking for Large Rifle and Large Rifle Magnum primers. CCI and Federal preferred.

Have the following to trade for it, all factory new from 2021. Or can pay cash

    • CCI Small Pistol
    • CCI Small Rifle
    • CCI Small Rifle Magnum

    • Titegroup powder
    • CFE 223 powder
    • AR Comp powder
    • Varget powder
    • Retumbo powder
    • IMR 8208 powder
    • H4350 powder

I would like to have this, however I do reload so I do not "need" the ammo. If it is not taken by another member in 7 days I will claim it.

    Sure RED.

I'm happy to ship to you as well if we can't meet up locally across our schedules. Just remembered that was part of the rules for this 🙂

I've also got some 30-06 rounds that were gifted to me by a reloader when we were doing a different transaction. I'm happy to include that so you can pull it for the bullets/brass if you'd like.

  4. Two partially full boxes of 30-06 hunting ammo available, I think 10 rounds in one and 16 rounds in the other. Nosler tipped in one box and soft points in the other, Federal and Sellier&Bellot brand.

Recently someone helped me partially fill my freezer with deer they didn't need. Happy to pass this along to someone who needs some ammo for their hunting.

  5. That's great. If you haven't taken this class yet I highly encourage it. You learn a lot about the law and what happens if/when you need to protect yourself. Plus the permit is nice to be able to drive across state lines, fly somewhere else (and be able to legally bring your gun with you, checked in the luggage), etc.

Just getting into reloading, so need press, powder measure, dies, etc. Interested in reloading for 9mm and 223/556. Used stuff that works is fine by me. Preference is to get a complete setup including tumbler, media as well if you've got a whole set you're cleaning out!

Can pay cash, trade you a variety of ammo, primers (maybe you're letting go of an old kit you no longer use), etc.

  7. note: this is *NOT* an NFA item. it's just a drill fixture

anyone in the Nashville area have the 22lr drill fixture for quietbore kit? or would be willing to sell shipped? going to be doing a form 1 can and looking to take this off your hands if you've got one handy. thanks!

I had both the B22 and Mark II FV-SR rifles and ran into the same issue when shooting them in NRL22 competition.  The solution for me was to build up a cheek riser out of closed-cell camp pad and vet tape.  I covered the top with a small piece of adhesive-backed felt.  Bonus for using the felt is it's more comfortable and easy to replace if it gets dirty or (in my case) covered in sweat.  It took a little experimentation to get the fit exactly right, but was well worth it for the end result.

Thanks, I actually have a yoga mat I was going to toss so maybe I'll give this a shot and see how I like it as either a stop-gap or a permanent solution. Did you wrap the pad around the whole stock or just layer it on top and then wrap with the vet tape?

  9. Anyone upgrade the stock (for the second time) on their Savage Mark II rifle and have an extra to get rid of? Let me know - interested in replacing my stock one.

If anyone is considering getting this rifle, just know that the cheek weld is non-existent. You can't put your cheek on the stock rifle and also look through the scope.

It's up to you. If you want it you can take it. However, they think of them very much the same as coyotes. Most of them wouldn't eat a wild hog any more than you'd eat a coyote.

Really! I've heard those wild hogs can be good eating, especially the younglings. And also that coyotes can be too haha. Coyote backstrap: (5) Watch | Facebook

I haven't tried either so I don't know myself. But I know I have a new chest freezer that I need to fill up...
