Jon - Gov Lee and McNally (among others) are RINO's. They claim to support the second amendment, but their interpretation of the second amendment. That may be my opinion only, so take it for what it's worth. Luckily, they are currently outnumbered by real conservatives, and I personally doubt Lee has the votes to pass his modified red flag law. We need a real conservative to run against Lee and boot him from office. Then we can get a replacement for McNally who is an unelected official. I moved here five years ago, and never regretted the move at all. Would have done it sooner but work kept me where I was. Impossible to say what's best for you, but I'd suggest you take a look at East Tennessee and see if it fits what you're looking for.

Been reading for awhile, just signed up. Moved to east TN almost 3 years ago now. Love the place, the people, the weather, the roads, everything. Got some long guns, got some short guns, I usually make it to the range about every two weeks. I'm retired so I can make it a habit. Really enjoy Sporting Clays and Skeet the most, I drive out to Crossville to shoot when I can. Pistols mostly for carry purposes. Just getting into some (rifle) distance shooting. If I'm not shooting, riding motorcycles, computer technology, and vintage (early 70's) two channel audio keeps me busy. Hope I can contribute some usefulness to a discussion soon.
