  1. get with it,  no one buys CD's anymore.

It is all about MP3's nowdays.

My daughter gave me a Kindle but I still prefer paper pages.  I still have a nice vinyl collection as well.  Vinyl beats CD and CD beats MP3.  I'm just old school.  Whatever It's all about today, I probably liked yesterday better.  My kids and grandkids tell me that I need to get with it as well.  That's just more reason not to.

  2. I bought Thundershirts for two of my dogs.  They definitely help calm them during a thunderstorm.  I haven't tried them with fireworks.

We tried the Thundershirts during last night's festivities and they seemed to help with the fireworks as they do with thunder.

  3. They make thunder shirts that are supposed to really help with dogs. They also make them for cats.

  4. I have a Tenacious and really liked it until some of the screws fell out.  I contacted Spyderco and they sent me some more screws, the wrong size.  I took it to the Spyderco counter at Smokey Mountain Knife Works and they said that they used to be able to do repairs but were no longer allowed.  It now just sits in a drawer and I carry a Case.

  5. I have a Bond Arms Snake Slayer and like it as it is.  I'm not concerned with recoil as I carry it only as a defensive weapon and usually only in the woods with .410.  I have shot it several times just to be sure it functions as it should. :pleased:  It's not a target shooter.  I think it's great for it's intended purpose and fortunately I've never had to use it for that.  I'm also not too worried about it's shot pattern as I don't expect to use it at a distance of more than a few feet.

  6. It's a 6' x 10' Utility Trailer.... So I don't need to do anything other than remove the old MI plate and keep the lights in working order?

As long as you don't take it out of Tennessee.  If you travel out of state with it, get a tag.

  7.

And here she is in trouble for not listening to her daddy:

Took what seemed like forever to get rid of the smell but after several baths consisting of Dawn, hydrogen peroxide and baking soda she was again huggable.

    That's priceless.

  8. From what I've seen in recent years, you probably get a better education through home schooling.  At least someone cares about your education.  You would, though,

miss out on the liberal indoctrination that occurs in much of the public system.  I know there are many public school teachers that do care about their students, and that's probably why they're teachers, but I still see a lot of young HS graduates without basic math and reading skills.

  9. I'm pocket carrying my Shield 9 right now.  I've been very happy with it.  Several hundred rounds and it's never failed.  FMJ or HP, it doesn't care.  I have a DeSantis Nemisis and a Super Fly for it but prefer the Super Fly.  It sticks in the pocket a little better.  What I need now is a Shield 40.  Not because I don't like the 9, but because my other M&P is a 40 and my wife wants the 9 to replace her P-11.
