It's not the new G&L. I heard middle of September for them. I got the card in the mail also. I called the number on the Friday I got the card. It wasn't NRange. It was somebody else that was open Mon. thru Thur. That dosen't sound like a gun shop. I may stop by that address tomorrow on the way home from G&L.

Hey cool. Thanks for puttin' the pic. up for me. I still can't figure that out.

.45 with Aimpoint and Burris magnifier with A.R.M.S mount. Bi-pod. CX4 picture by flyanything - Photobucket

Sounds like good advice. I'll definately look into the SF also and the 30 and 36.

I called G&L and they do have a G21 I can rent. I'm goint to try it out. If it's a have to have thing, my Kimber will be posted in the classifieds. Also, how often do they change generations? I guess a 4th Gen. G21, G30, G36 isn't made yet?
-
Well I'm only considering a G21 becuase most of my weapons are .45ACP. I don't carry a 1911, nor will I carry a Glock. I have that area taken care of. The Kimber stays under my pillow. I'll call G&L tomorrow and see if they have a G21. Most I saw there was for the HCP class and chambered in .22. I'll probably go up there to shoot my new CX4 Saturday, or maybe Monday or Tuesday. I just know I'm going to shoot some before surgery Wednesday.

I've never shot or handled a Glock or really know anything about them. I do hear a lot of discussion about them. Even Gunney likes em. Where can I shoot a G21 and a G21C to see if I like them. I also have to consider that to get one I would have to sell my Kimber Custom 2. That would be a far fetch for seeing how smooth and accurate and eating any kind of ammo I throw at it,it is. That Glock would have to really impress me. I should be able to get a gen.4 with night sights for my Kimber easy. Just wandering. Anybody want to trade up for about 20 minutes one day at G&L? Oh BTW: Just keep hijacking that other thread so I can read relevant posts. Thanks.

I have a Comp M and want to get a rubber boot for it. I see them listed most places for the CompM3. Would that be the same boot? If not, where would I find the boot for the Comp M? Thanks.

Suggestions on a magnifier?

As of now, with the price of the Burris I'm thinking that's the one. I'm gonna wait till Friday to order, so I'll keep checking here for any additional info. -
Suggestions on a magnifier?
flyanything replied to flyanything's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
Excellent. I've been checking these out. I may just get that Burris from PA. That Po boy special would be just fine also. Maybe someone will offer one up here. -
I'm familiar with Aimpoint and Eotech magnifiers, and the price associated with such a unit. I was wandering if there are any suggestions on a less expensive unit with still decent quality. I don't really want to try the airsoft junk as it would be throwing away the money I could put towards something worth having. I thought maybe Burris $200 and a good flip mount $120-$140. I'd be in around $320-$340. I'd still like to go less and have a flip mount. Any help would be appreciated and studied into. If you can, fill this thread up with links. Thanks.

Trijicon TX30 Cheapest place to buy.

Well heading your opinion, I decided on the Eotech XPS. I can get it for $432 at the same place. Thanks for the input. -
Trijicon TX30 Cheapest place to buy.

I really like my Trijicons. The other thought would be an XPS-2 or 3. Check out sportsmansguide.com for the $458. I am also going to use a flip to side magnifier, so the Eotech XPS might work better. Man, I really like my Trijicons. Fiber optic, Tritium, and battery. Back and forth, Back and forth. ????????? I started out thinking about trying my first Aimpoint. -
I want to buy a Trijicon TX30 Red Dot (tri-power). I've been cruisin the net and E-bay. Any suggestions on good spots to find them used, or new really cheap. The Buyers club price on Sportsmans Guide is $458. I'm trying to find better. Thanks for any help.

I'll get some pics up, probably tomorrow. It looks almost the same as the plastic grips, but the feel is entirely different. Not as much slip and slide.

Thanks. That's good info.

I've been searching the internet and found a Mossberg 500 Bullpup. Some have had a conversion. Others were selling a complete firearm. Some say a conversion is no longer available. Does anyone know where I might find a conversion for sale? Anyone have any experience with one? Thanks.
-
Since no one has made any rubber grips for the Sig 238, and that's all I like, I converted my own. Plasti-dip made for putting a rubber coating on your tool handles. I sanded my plastic grips with 600, and used the spray version in Black. Now I have a rubber coating on my grips. When dry, they are flat Black rubber. Very nice, and the grip feels great. Several different colors are made, if you don't like Black. I just wanted to pass this along. Don't know if any one else has tried it before, but it's really cool.

The .22 is used for training without the cost of .223 ammo. The Swat version of the Sig 522 has an Aluminum quad rail instead of the plastic cover. There is also a 556 and 556 Swat. I think I'll list it for sale this weekend and wait to see if a Beretta comes available. Hopefully soon. It's good I travel a lot, I can meet up more places.
-
I found the Beretta CX4. I can get it in .45 and share ammo with my 1911. It's right at $800 new at G&L. If I could sell the Sig 522 with scope for $500 maybe I could find a used CX4 on here and not be out of pocket too much.

I had a CW9. Not anymore. I even ordered the night sights for it and sold it before they came in. I just couldn't get used to that darn trigger pull. I never knew when it was going to fire. Just keep pullin, pullin, pullin, bang. I really like to feel the pressure and click on a trigger. Everything else was great.
-
I want to use it for target shooting for fun, and a practical home/self defence also. I don't hunt, but I will track down the occasional can to shoot. I sold my AR because of nowhere close to shoot it. If I get a pistol caliber, I can go to the range and still be able to shoot outdoors when the opertunity presents itself to me and not be stuck with a .22.
-
I bought a Sig Sauer 522 Swat so I could shoot a tactical rifle at the indoor ranges. I want to get a larger caliber. I know some manufactures produce tactical rifles in pistol ammo configurations that I could still shoot indoors. This Sig was $540 new, and I've put 100Rds. down the pipe, and mounted a Bushnell Banner 4-12 scope on it. I don't want to put much more money with it. Any suggestions on what I should look for? Thanks for your time.
