  1. i was once told that when involving car doors in a shootout, you want .357sig if you want to shoot through the car door or 10mm if you want to slam the door on the BG!

10MM will vaporize the car door, car, bad guy, road under the bad guy and car, and cause a rift in the space time continuum and disrupt interstellar travel. The point............ Be sure of your backstop.

  2. Crap, you are supposed to break these things in? I just took it to the range and put 7 magazines through it with a mix of 556 and 223 from several different manufacturers. The barrel was smokin hot when I got done. Hows that for a break in? There wasn't a lot of copper in the barrel when I cleaned it, and the bore looks fantastic afterwards.

Yeah you really messed up your gun............send it to me for proper disposal :D

  3. It would probably be cheaper to have it threaded than to have someone pin a flash hider on. The only reason to pin a flash hider is if your going with a 14.5 barrel and need to make it legal.

Personally I say thread the barrel and try to get a new stripped flattop upper receiver so you can use any optic you want.

  4. That is just so people can use the same lower for other calibers. It has no legal binding of which I am aware.

Like using different uppers on the same lower. You can't use a .308 on a .233/5.56 lower. Any of the others that do not require modifcation of the lower (magwell, LPK,ect) can be used.

  5. Pretty much anything is Name Brand. But I would "assume" they mean Glock, Springfeild, Smith, Colt, Ruger.... not a Raven, Jennings, HiPoint.

Something you would carry and defend your life with. They probably dont want to have to stop the drills and strings of fire to clear a jam in "el cheapo".

  6. Too many shootings in churches in the last few years to not carry in Church. While I haven't started carrying in church yet since Im still kinda new to everyone (we joined last week), the preach has a 357 he talks about so Im going to approach him in a few weeks.

While I figure JC is cool with my carrying, it would be best to inform the pastor in case something was to come up.

  7. I don't think i would go with the UTG stock set. Maybe if it was just the stock but I think I would get a "brand name" buffer tube and buffer and spring but that's just me.

While there it's not a part that is stressed....why risk a buffer tube that might cross thread or break off in your lower.

  8. Sounds like a "training issue". I was trained as a small child what would happen if I touched a gun without Dad being present. Let's just say I took my father at his word about how my back side would feel if I was ever foolish enough to touch a gun alone.
