We have almost as many great "high profile" SI teachers in the South as they do out West.

Where was the store that wanted to charge a fee and a % of the retail price of the gun.
As long as your not buying the gun from a guy in a trench coat or in a dark alley you should be ok.

One of the guys I taught to shoot has hi points, much against my advise. I shot his and it shoots good if you really take your time on the bang switch. But it's not a "self defense" weapon in our definition. Tossed in the drawer for a Saturday Night Special against a break in........... I'll give it that.

I have never seen that in The Sharper Image.

It is a backup sight. You will in all likely hood never use it. If your using open sights then get steel fixed sights.

The animation ABC news did looked like M16s......... 20 inch M16s.

VM2 if you can get one.

If it hits nashville can we send some to the problem areas of other cities?

In TX you can use deadly force to protect property...you can even use deadly force to protect a 3rd persons property in TX.
So simply put...Yes, the law is different from state to state.
So No...it doesn't greatly surprise me that that is the law in SC.
As far as "Police Powers" citizens of the state of TN have "almost" the same powers of arrest that a LEO does, whether the person has a HCP or not.
May have been asked and I missed it. How would this extend to citizen carry of handcuffs? Usually you see the line about power of arrest and authority to arrest being the reason for police only use of handcuffs. Thought it was in interesting question to think about.

I clicking thinking 1911 or M9. I am unaware that any .mil uses the ak/ar pistols.

In training films most likely transmission is Bites and Scratches. Don't get it in your eyes or on a open wound.

I stutter and it's really bad when under "stress". So I made the personal decision to just hand my DL and HCP over when they roll up at the window and go from there.
With lots of Yes Sir and No Sir.

I forgot to mention, IDPA was started by Bill Wilson (WILSON pistols).
I doubt he would put in any rules that would disadvantage 1911 shooters.
I remember they changed the rules when Sig 45s were beating 1911 pattern guns. From what I read most "gamers" drink the 40 kool aid now.

I dread to renew mine. Last time it took 2 fees and 5 trips to the DMV before someone told me they changed it where they need a copy of your BC on file. Maybe I can just do the mail thing this time would paying double.

They call this "Mischief At Night" in Texas. Talk about a common sense gun law!

I do well with an MTAC at 2 to 230. My fat roll helps to hide it with a shirt my normal size in a TALL.
Spare mags on the other side kill me so Im still looking for a good set up there.

Gemtech suppressors in .22lr and 9mm; and planning on SBRing a couple of my ARs.
Damn! That is $800 in stamps alone.
Aren't you glad your not an outlaw and can afford those stamps.......

There is need and there is want........ as long as want exceeds the requirements that need covers...... your good to go.

Walker Springs and Turkey Creek are the only two WM's of the many in this area that do not sell guns. Ammo yes, but no guns.
The Wally World in Athens sells guns and the one in Lenior City has guns I think.
Not that it helps the OP but most times you get better deals at Gunshops.

Mmmm.....I think the posting requirement pot should remain un-stirred. I doubt further regulations/requirements would have any beneficial impact on the HCP holder.
Just my opinion.
Be better to have them make the signs where you can actually see them as you go in without searching for it than getting jammed up because you missed the tenny tiny wittle bitty gun buster sign.

You would think more companies would make a factory option to take the high cap mags. Like the FAL or G3 mags are cheap.

I didn't see any drop marks on it in the pictures. har de har har

We probably need to talk to our State Reps about getting a size requirement for legal signage. It does little good to have a posting that you can't read.

I know the magic force fields don't work at these places.

I went with Mom to get groceries the other day and you know the scale they have to weight produce............... I asked her think they would mind if I brought in a few guns to "test" the trigger weight.................. She just looked at me like I was crazier than normal.
