  1. Clinton Highway Walmart received a great shipment. I'm not one of the resellers, or I would have had a field day. They have 7 boxes of 9mm federal bulk 100 round 9mm, all kinds of .223, a box of .45, and a bunch of 38 special and .357!!! There was no one there, and i was shocked. just picked up my two 100 round 9mm packs. COME AND GET IT BOYS!!!!!
  2. Maryville and Alcoa Wally Worlds are cleaned out. Need some decently priced 9mm!!
  3. Done. I finally got what I was looking for!! Thanks for all of the help guys!!!
  4. That's the plan. Thanks!
  5. I really like the SR9c, but Bill doesn't have one in stock yet. I love that store though! I haven't looked at the SD9VE though. Are there any downsides to that gun? I heard a lot of bad things about the Sigma line, is this the same gun?
  6. I tried on both of those. No luck. To be honest the guy in Cleveland was just rude, and I don't want to give him my money. The guy in Lebanon is kind of far away, and his price is high and firm. In short, still looking!!! Hopefully a store somewhere close will get one in soon.
  7.   I know I want the SR9c, it's just a matter of finding what I want now. Hopefully one will pop up soon, either here in the classifieds or in one of my local shops. We'll see.
  8. I wouldn't say I'm opposed to it, but I would rather have the 9mm.
  9. Well, I just called both of the Guns and Leather stores. They both had the SR40c, but neither had the SR9c. Looks like I'm still on the hunt!! They did have a good price though. Hopefully they will get one in stock soon.
  10. I'll call them today. Wish I were in the Nashville area!! That's a bit of a drive, but maybe I can catch a hockey game and make it worth my while!!
  11.   I checked it out, but after shipping it came out to be closer to $480, with a transfer fee it would end up around $500. I was really hoping to be a little cheaper than that...   Does anyone know of a store local to Knoxville/Maryville that could have one in stock?
  12. Thanks for the advice. I read online that the trigger pull is heavier on the SR9. Any truth to that?
  13. So, I went to pretty much every gun shop within 40 miles today, and I was only able to find a SR9. Are there any downsides to it besides size? I think I should be able to conceal it, but other than that, any other issues with that model? I would rather have an SR9c, but I just can't find one right now. Especially in my price range.
  14. Came here to ask the same question. Guess I'm just driving around to a few gun shops today!! Just out of curiosity, how much do they charge to get in?
  15. It seems like the Ruger SR9c is my best choice right now. I really like the Taurus PT92, but Academy didn't have one, and everyone else's prices are MUCH higher. Does anyone know who might have a SR9c in stock online or in the Knoxville area? I'd really like to hold as many as possible before I buy.
  16. I wouldn't mind buying used at all either. I haven't been able to find anything as nice as the pistols mentioned here. Especially for the price. Most people are asking more than what they sell for new right now. However, if you happen to see one, especially on this forum, please shoot me a PM.
  17. Also, I really like that PT92! I like the way it looks. Would it be too large for carry though? How much does Academy charge for a background check?
  18. What about the Sccy? Does anyone own one? I've read some really good reviews of the 2nd generation, they're made in America, and it would leave enough money left for a nice holster and some ammo.
  19. Hey guys, I am looking at buying a new handgun. My FEG PA-63 is a great gun, but the Makarov cartridge is still rare in my neck of the woods (as is everything else, but a lot of places don't even carry it). I am thinking of switching over to something in either 9mm or 45 ACP, but I only have around $400 right now. Given that, I think 9mm is probably the best bet. I am looking for something I can use for concealed carry, home defense, and some range shooting. Basically, I need a good all around gun. I have read a few recommendations for the Sccy CPX-2, the Ruger SR9c, and the Kel Tec PF-9. What do you guys think would be the best way for me to go? Thanks, Dubya
  20. I just recently bought one of these from a member here. I've taken it to the range 2 times, and no problems so far. I've only tried 2 types of ammo - Federal 550 round bulk pack (which i was expecting some problems with) and Winchester Super X. Surprisingly, it ate up the Federal bulk, and didn't like the Super X very much! That's what I call a cheap gun right there. I'd recommend it, especially if you're looking for cheap range fun. That's what I got it for!
  21. Rand Paul won - It's a great day for America everybody! I really hope this is a sign of the times. As you may have noticed from my signature, I'm a bit of a Ron Paul fan. He's getting old, but has a lot of fight left in him. All I can hope for is that he is on the ballot in 2012.
  22. No. But I want to very bad. The videos look awesome, with the jetpacks and everything. My xbox has the red ring, and is getting shipped out tomorrow!
  23. I had no idea!! Must find a grey ribbon ASAP!
